Jimmy's Cucina — Restaurant in Brielle

Perhaps I caught them on an off day. We've been here many times, trying to support a local business, but we've twice now noticed that some of the staff (kids) are pretty unprofessional. A lot of standing around, goofing off, watching the clock, looking annoyed that they actually have to work! Meanwhile, some of the staff (kids too) were professional, so maybe just a few bad apples.

Case in point, today I ordered, tipped, and then sat there for 15 minutes. One of the staff members noticed I had been waiting a long time and asked what I had ordered, then found out that the girl at the register forgot to pass my ticket to the kitchen because "she got busy." ... I think there were 2 orders behind me....The staff member who noticed I was waiting was very professional, and apologized, and refunded my order at my request.

A shame for the business owner that there are some employees here not taking their job seriously. I get that these are kids, probably a summer job, but be professional. It is a turn off to your customers to watch you goofing off behind the counter, standing around, and not tending to your...

Jimmys' pizza has never done us wrong...until tonight. We run a Major business in Manasquan and order from here regularly to our office. We consider Jimmys' to be some of the best pizza around. That being said, we are huge Buffalo Chicken Pizza fans- but Jimmys' BCP is definitely not on our list. The only reason we rated this 3 stars is due to this unfortunate fact. Upon delivery, the pizza was hot- but not so inviting. It appeared to look like a soupy mix of Buffalo sauce, chicken bits and globs of mozzarella. Definitely not well prepared or inviting in it's presentation. Giving it ago anyway, the first bite drew you to the real pizza-problem at hand. Dry chicken, low spice and dry globs of mozzarella that even a sabers tooth wouldn't be able to chew through. Now, if you are not ordering BCP from Jimmys' you'll be delighted to find other amazing and top rated tastes. Two stars lost for the BCP lovers. My husband and I just catered a post wedding brunch 2 days ago. This was the 2nd time we catered a party with Jimmy. Both parties were for serving about 80 people, and both were a huge success. This post wedding brunch required a lot of planning as I knew some people would hang out with us all day long, and some people would need a quick bite to eat before they traveled home. Jimmy helped me plan a menu that was perfect for buffet, and all my requests such as accommodating a few gluten free and/or vegetarian guests as well. He was so accommodating and patient with our multiple revisions of the menu!!
