McHugh's Pizza Brigantine — Restaurant in Brigantine

After arriving on time for our order & paying, waited 30 minutes until given our order. The order had been there for 20 minutes. The fries were cold, soggy & barely cooked. The cheese in the cheesesteaks were cold & solid. I called to let them know & then was put on hold. After a bit I just hung up. It wasn't worth my time or aggravation. A woman called me back & was beyond rude. Offered a $20 credit for a future meal or to come back in an hour to pick up another order. She then informed me quite rudely & with no patience she was trying to help me, like she was doing me a favor. I understand places get busy but I have no idea how any establishment would put up with this. I have never written a poor review & if I could give them 0 stars I would. Wish I had read these other reviews 1st. Honestly, I only called back to let them know & an "I'm sorry" would've been appreciated. Maybe we would've given them the benefit of the doubt & a 2nd chance, but not with that attitude.

Update: 4 years later we tried again. It was awful. Overcooked some of the order, undercooked the rest. French fries were hard as a rock - 2 twelve years-olds couldn't eat them. They forgot the steak on the cheesesteak. Same rude staff. The only way these people are still in business has to be there are so few options...

Our family was visiting for the week and we decided to try this place out.

The food: We ordered (1) medium pizza with extra cheese, (1) small order of fries, (1) small order of mozzarella sticks, and (1) 2-liter of soda totaling $28.63 before tip for the delivery driver.

-Pizza: was cold and seemed dried out like it may not have been fresh. -Fries: undercooked, unseasoned, and soggy by the time we received the order. -Mozzarella Sticks: The included sauce container had spilled at some point prior to receiving the order and had coated the mozzarella sticks making them very soggy. -Soda: no issues.

The delivery: We we're quoted an estimated delivery time of 20-30 minutes upon ordering. Then the delivery driver had called us at 30-35 minutes and told us that he was at the wrong location and that the wrong address had been recorded. The food had finally arrived 45-50 minutes after we had ordered. We don't mind waiting, however we would appreciate being quoted delivery times that were reasonably accurate. Tip for the driver was $4.37 but would have been more if the service was better.

Used to be awesome,3 times in a row didn't give what we ordered,yet charged us for it.NEVER had a problem,it's only past few months,we live in brigantine & would order 3 times a month from them,3 strikes ur out,changing pizzerias, sad,used to love the food!!!
