Richman's Ice Cream & Burger Co. — Restaurant in Brigantine

Very good soft serve and amazing waffles. The portions are huge though. Lots of variety to choose from. Best burgers you can have here. Best funnel cakes/sticks. Friendly staff. Edit: I had to edit my review because last time we went for burgers was horrible in many ways. It started by letting us in (sit anywhere) when there was no enough chairs. We requested a chair. Then the waitress got my husband's order wrong twice. Another waitress was just so rude and threw our drinks at the table, literally threw them. We were forgiven since she was just a teenager and looked like she really had a bad day. That said, we don't forgive or forget that the tomato slice on my husband's burger was bad, rotten tomato, yuck! The funnel cake was raw and doughy inside, we threw it out. I was so embarrassed since I thought really high about their burger and service before and my company thought it was way below...

We have gone here a few times and the food usually is really good but lately has been hit or miss. This last time we did breakfast and were kind of disappointed. We got the same thing the week before and it was awesome, this time, it was poorly thrown together. My husband got a pork roll sandwich and it was one slice of pork roll, one slice of cheese, on a potato roll. The last time we got it, it had a few pieces of pork roll and a few slices of cheese and it was sooo good!

The last few times the service has not really been the best. I understand that there are young kids working and they may not really know. But both recent times we went, one Friday night and then Sunday morning, the kids seemed more concerned with talking to themselves and eating ice cream than serving people.

We will give it another go of course, we have had really great experiences there before so maybe just a little slump...

After checking out the food menu and seeing the extensive ice cream menu , I had high hopes for this place. To my disappointment, it was terrible. We ordered a couple of burgers, chicken sandwich, and fries and waited 45 min to an HOUR until it was finally served! You'd think it would come out piping hot after waiting all of that time --- nope! The fries were cold! My chicken sandwich was darn near black and literally looked like a hockey puck! My daughter's burger was way overcooked and dry as well. Even the fountain drinks tasted bad. The ice cream was average, but I'd say the soft serve was way too soft and pretty much turned to soup immediately. Mind you , this was at 9 at night , so it wasn't hot outside. This was my first , and sadly will be my last...
