This morning I decided to get a coffee and bagel from biggby. Thinking nothing of it, I pulled through the drive thru. When I went to order, they asked my order, so I started to order my food. I then heard nothing but static noise through the machine. I asked 3 times if they could hear me. Clearly, they couldnât so I decided to just pull up and order. After I pulled up, I heard them speak clearly to the people behind me and take there order. Once I got up to the window, a young girl asked me if I had the â2 teddiesâ I kindly said no, and then asked if she heard anything I tried to order. She then told me, she couldnât hear me because her head set wasnât workingâŚ.? Yes I know, doesnât make sense. Then she asked what I wanted and I said, âan everything bagel with cream cheese and a coffee with some half and halfâ. Unfortunately, this made the poor girl flustered as she then proceeded to close the window. A few seconds later, what I proceeded to be a manager opened the window and asked me again if I had the â2 teddiesâ, I said no, when I ordered I donât think anyone could hear me. She then came in hot and said âIâm not trying to argue with youâ. Again, this left me very confused as I donât believe I said anything in an arguable manner. At this point, I shouldâve just drove away as this experience was beyond horrible, but I wanted to let the âmanagerâ know that I wasnât trying to argue with her, I was just confused what was going on. I ended up still ordering my simple order and getting it a few seconds later. Now, the point of this review isâŚ.I understand when a place is busy, but coming in hot to customer that was just trying to order a bagel and coffee after I waited for 10 minutes and had multiple weird encounters, just seemed to be unnecessary. I will absolutely never go back to this biggby, not because the food was bad, simply because the whole experience ended up making me feel like I did something horribly wrong just for trying to order a bagel and coffee at a popular franchise that is known for these...
Read moreHaving to edit this review because my second visit was - BAD. I ordered a breakfast roll and it was good enough. Then I sat at the drive-through window for probably seven minutes while the people inside talked to customers that were coming in and visited with customers and visited with each other and played on their phones. Finally I got out of my car because I couldnât reach the window from it and knocked on the window and they looked at me and then somebody finally brought my green tea and apologized saying they had lost my order; all the while I was right there at the window in my car and nobody gave me the time of day after they gave me the breakfast roll. I sincerely hope the manager was not one of these people and I also sincerely hope the manager sees this review and acts on it because I would never return there and I would never recommend it to anyone if service remains the way it was that day; a good way to lose business is to have people who are more interested in phones & each other behind the counter than they are in serving the customers that pay...
Read moreNatalie, Amy, Xander & the team have opened up and are all heart - and velvety foam in the coffee drinks! It's a treat to have a coffee shop this far East on Grand River, and as they are ramping up business (May 2024) they are offering daily specials via Facebook. My friend who lives in Clarkston was so taken with the quality and flavor of an almond milk latte that she now goes to the Biggby on her way to work. Get the app to scan when you make purchases (for loyalty rewards) and to check out menu items. Currently, it is not used for ordering at the Brighton Biggby, but I trust it will some day! I find it valuable for looking up menu items, or figuring out a Build Your Own (BYO) order before I open my mouth to speak...(Before coffee, that can be a challenge.)
The lobby space is clean and bright, and there has already been talk of establishing some area groups to meet there. WiFi signal is...
