I no longer eat here due to their complete and utter disregard for my seafood allergies. It was specified to employees here on multiple occasions that I have severe seafood allergies, and I could not have a shrimp egg roll, it needed to be pork, veggie, or whatever else. ANYTHING but seafood.
I grabbed take out once (explained about my allergies), got home and just to be sure cut into my egg roll. Sure enough, shrimp. Wen't back complained and was given a correct one. I grabbed take out a second time (explained about my allergies), and didn't even think anything of it when I got home (was in a hurry) and bit into my egg roll this time...and....SHRIMP..again (luckily it was just veggies that were in the first bite).
Maybe they don't understand the severity of allergies and what not, I don't know. But I am certainly not going to have a possible medical emergency just to try and eat some mediocre...
Read moreIf I could give it less than 1 star, I would. I ordered Chicken Chow Mein and a small wonton soup. I asked for extra chicken and paid for it.
If that was extra chicken, they were using cornish hens.
Their chow mein consisted of canned bean sprouts heated up with cornish hens. No other vegetables, (celery, broccoli, cabbage, carrots ), no sauce of any kind. Just left over liquid from the bean sprout can, no flavor. Just rather gross. Like I would open a can of LaChoy bean sprouts and heat them and eat them at home?????
The wonton dumplings weren't cooked all the way through. It was like biting into a small blob of raw chewy dumpling dough. There was only one dumpling in the small size order. Could you spare some, please?
As a side note, they are only taking carry out orders, due to lack of staff, so you are at their mercy when they hand you the tied up plastic bag....
Read moreI moved into the area last August and have been looking for a decent Chinese place. Tonight. I may have possibly found it. I ordered approx 40 minutes before close, and when I got there, there were 2 others picking up orders. I got the combination plate of the General Taos Chicken, and ordered it spicy with Chicken Fried Rice. It also came with an egg roll. Everything was fresh, hot and cooked well. The chicken had the perfect amount of breading and the red sauce had a kick which I enjoyed. The fried rice was also fresh and and small chucks of chicken in it which were tasty. The egg roll was also pretty darn good. After reading so.e previous reviews, I was a bit worried, but tonight they were perfect. Keep up the great work!
UPDATE I have been there 3 times since this review and they never have disappointed me. Food is always hot, fresh...
