Cabinets Express — Local services in Brighton Charter Township

I usually don't write reviews and I've really been trying to hold off on this but I will probably never buy cabinets from here again. I love the look of them but I don't like the business aspect of them and a little bit of the quality of them for how much we spent. Bought some before when it was KSI and had no issues, now with the new place we have had nothing but issue after issue. Our first issue was we had to cancel three cabinets and crown molding after ordering for a different size and ended up receiving the three cabinets and molding upon delivery after having to pay a restocking fee. We ordered a 90 inch pantry and received a 96 inch pantry. Everything else had been little things that just keep adding up, I've had about three drawer fronts that had the screws pull out and they said they would send more and either didn't send them or they have different hole placements on them so one drawer face won't go on. A pin hole in one door face, a blue pen mark on one drawer face, received a replacement door for the blue pen mark and that door has a big chip right out of the packaging. It's literally one thing after another with this stuff and these people here. When I went in for the first time for them to look at my kitchen layout they told me I had to do it during the week because they where to busy on Saturday when there was no one in the showroom. I called and asked if I could email my layout to them and they said no I need to bring it in and when I did she scanned it and said she would email me back with a layout they have, same thing I called and asked if I could do but they told me to come in. After all this I finally see on the website they offer free hardware with cabinet purchase and I was never informed of any of that. I knew about the place so I had no reason to look at the website online, therefore not knowing about a code to get free hardware. Not happy with this place at all. I'll give 2 stars because I love the look of them but nothing else about this place, the look you can get...

ALL YOU NEED! We recently have renovated our entire first floor, which included our kitchen. We shopped the big box stores only to basically be ignored by sales people. We then contacted a young lady named Hailee from Cabinets Express. Let me tell you how over and above this young lady helped us. She answered every question - even the silly ones- She called to make sure the cabinets were to our satisfaction, she even came to our home to inspect them and make sure that we were/are happy. And followed up every time when we were to receive additional materials. AND .. The delivery guys were awesome, they were very polite and showed concern in our mess of renovation not to bump into or damage anything. So, a few weeks later after we received our cabinets, I contacted Hailee to see if she could assist with countertops, as again, we were not having much luck. Within a few quick hours, I had a sample picture, prices, and an estimated install date. That's service over and above! I would and do, highly recommend Hailee and Cabinets Express. They have made my life and renovation so much easier! Trust them, they do what they promise. AND they included...

Issues upon issues upon delays and lack of communications from their team. We have had to follow up 10+ times via email and call to get responses on the same issue. There was a miscommunication on the height of the cabinets as the first thing we dealt with along with installation instructions and how to install the cabinets as well. We have currently been waiting on a simple drawer front, for over a month after it was supposed to be installed and that is the only thing left to finish our built in desk.
