Love this place. We stumbled across Jezebels while walking back from a different destination in Brighton.  We were walking back to our car and as we were walking by some people came out and we heard them saying how much they liked it so we had to go in and check it out.

What originally attracted us to this place, is just as much about the vibe/décor as the food and drinks that we saw.  It’s hard to describe the feeling you get when you walk thru their front door.  It’s rustic, like you are walking into a divey saloon but a modern day divey saloon.  There is a long bar to the right and high top tables on the left.  Behind the bar they have old wooden crates stacked up which they have various random items displayed.  Everything from an old TV to an armadillo.  They are known for serving their drinks in red solo cups.

They refer to the food on their website the “Fine Diving”.  I’ll start by saying the portions are big and the menu is not that of a dive bar.  They have burgers and fries but they also have items like Lemon Chicken, Fried Rice and Tequila Lime Tacos but the food that attracted us was their Chicken Sandwich (The Jezebel), Fish N’ Chips and most importantly their Nacho El Gordo.

The nacho is dinner and a show.  It comes out in a large tin can on a sheet tray.  The chips are layered in the can with onion, bell peppers, salsa, corn, cheese sauce, black beans jalapenos sour cream and cilantro (you can add beef, chicken or shrimp for an additional charge)  They place it on the table and lift the can exposing all the goodness packed inside and gravity takes over hence the need for the sheet tray.  It is just a pile of ooey gooey goodness for the table to share, which is what we did.

For those of you who follow us regularly you know we are chicken sandwich fanatics, I guess you could say we have an unhealthy obsession for them.  This is one we had to try, it looked so good. While it was not a Nashville Hot sandwich it was still a big hit with us, the breading was crispy yet light allowing the chicken to be the star of the show.  We also had the Fish N’ Chips which is served as a whole filet not pieces.  They use Panko Breaded Walleye and a homemade remoulade sauce, absolutely delicious.  Other items include fried pickles, chili, six cheese and potato pierogi and more.

The problem we have when going to a place like this is we can only order a few items but we want to order everything.  So, yes we will...

Very comfortable atmosphere...it looks like it was designed to look a lot older than it is, with lots of interesting decor. I was relieved that they had classic rock playing, and not country like I figured would be. We visited around everybody's usual dinnertime. We were greeted at the door, and got seated quickly. Our waitress, Gina, was very laid back and cool while giving great service. We had the rodeo burger, Jezebel chicken sandwich, and sweet potato waffle fries. All were very good, and freshly made. The burger and sandwich were huge, other's review photos don't do them justice. Coke is served with a cold can and a cup of ice, so it's perfect every time and not flat or watery. We also got a margherita, which was good. Any negative reviews about Jezebels were probably written by far left Woketopians, who were offended by a few patriotic right-leaning references (which you wouldn't notice unless you were specifically looking for them)...ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and give Jezebels a try. (No, my Google name isn't my...

We were reading some of the low reviews for this place and some of the amusing responses by the owner. So we came in for a meal and drinks, have a bad experience, leave a bad review, hoping we would be verbally abused as well. 🙂 All kidding aside, our experience was very pleasant. I had the fish and chips and my spouse the peroggies. The perrogies were pretty good. But I would not get the fish and chips again. It was cooked very nice! But there is something about the texture of walleye that I do not care about. The place was very slow (3pm Wednesday). We sat at the bar. Heather was very attentive. The gentleman in the kitchen also came out to check on us and spoke to us for a little. The place has alot of atmosphere that adds to the dining experience. We plan to go back. I would like to try the burrito and the nachos at some point. We would also like to go when live music is happening (Friday and Saturday at 8pm). Overall, a very...

Tonight I shared a truly unforgettable dinner at Jezebel Saloon, where I had the joy of bringing my parents and sister together with the kids, my fiance, and myself for an evening that will inspire lifelong memorie. My kids reveled in the mouthwatering Nacho El Gordo, my fiance savored the Big Ole Bacon sandwich, and I delighted in the Chicken tenders and fries. My dad discovered a Rodeo Burger, while my mom opted for the impressive Giganto Burrito and my sister had the Tequila Lime Chicken taco. The exceptional staff and manager went above and beyond, surprising the kids with decadent Deep Fried Snickers accompanied by creamy ice cream, a thoughtful gesture that made our evening even more special. This outstanding experience has solidified Jezebel Saloon as our top choice for a phenomenal dining experience in a vibrant bar setting that brings people together and creates lasting memories.
