Checkers — Restaurant in Bristol Township

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Checkers in Croydon, PA! I walked into the lobby at 10:55 p.m. and ordered two meal deals and two Big Buford text message deals. Despite it being just minutes before their lobby closed at 11:00 p.m. (drive-thru is open until 3:00 a.m., which was good to know!), the cashier and the cook behind the counter were incredibly polite and genuinely happy to serve me. The food was outstanding. The meal deal cheeseburger was a revelation – it tasted like a homemade burger made with care, miles ahead of any of the "crap burgers" you get at McDonald's or Burger King. And those fries? Delicious! They have some kind of special seasoning that makes them addictive. But the star of the show was the Big Buford. Seriously, it has to be the best burger I've ever had from a fast-food chain. The potato bun roll was a nice touch, and whatever special burger sauce they use is phenomenal. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. Five stars all the way! This place is a 10 out of 10 for both food and service. I highly recommend this Checkers – I left...

This restaurant is on a small lot, so the drive thru tends to extend on the street. I get that they're new so keep in mind that wait times are a little longer than normal as they pan that out. I think the drive thru length is on par with Checkers elsewhere..... but this place did NOT have a Checkers for about a decade or so, this is a welcome place to have back here.

Anyway, drive thru times are longer than normal and my wait tonight was 7 minutes when I went inside. Not very long at all... longer than I would like, yes, but I would bet if I came back in 2 weeks, they'll get that ironed out.

I have to say that this was really the best Checkers I've been to. The burgers aren't burnt, the fries aren't either... everything just tasted sooooo good. If I had any complaint, this needs more ketchup on the burgers. :) But I can always use a ketchup packet to do that.

So a great place to get a burger and fries... And if you don't want to wait... they're on...

Our milkshakes were melting in the parking lot which we were in for 20 minutes. Also, we were LITERALLY GIVEN THE MILKSHAKES FIRST BEFORE OUR FOOD. During those 20 minutes, we had to call them eventually to let them know we were waiting for 20 minutes for our order, which we ordered around 30 minutes ago.

Currently still waiting for the food. Will edit this review and update it during and after eating. Although, we are in the drive-thru. Making us miss the game, too. 😒

We have got our food after 30+ minutes.. Never again. Half an hour almost. Got here at 8:11, (PM) now it’s 8:41, and we are just getting our food.

Next day, 5-31-24, food was absolutely great. Sorry if I sounded rude. I have bumped stars up to 3 cus of the food. Really good. Milkshakes were mid, tasted like burger king - a bit of flavor.
