Julio's Famous Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bristol Township

If you're from the levittown/Fairless hills area, you know julios. Their pizza has that unique cheese and sauce swirl that so perfectly comes together in every bite. Their steaks are delicious regardless of whether it's on a roll or in a pouch. Yeah, a bread roll pouch. Just try it. The apps are pretty much par for the course but their fries stand out. Not many place around serve steak fries these days and julios does em right. They're perfectly crispy on the outside with a nice firm texture on the inside. Obviously if you're eating in, you'll get the best fry and it stands to reason delivery time has an important impact on French fry texture.

I haven't ordered delivery from them in a while but historically, for me, average delivery time during dinner hours was around 45 minutes. With the advent of indie delivery, I'd guess those times are a little lower now. The dine-in experience is nice. The dining room is a throw back to the old days of soda jerks and drive-ins. Black and white checked floor tile leads to big retro tables and booths covered in metal flake vinyl. The service is good and as of these days, seating is available! I hate doing this about local businesses but I'm done with Julio's restaurant. The first time my husband and three kids went there, the service in the restaurant was horrible. We tried to give the waitress the benefit of the doubt but we could no longer wait forty five minutes for our drinks so we left. This incident happened two years ago.

Tonight, I decided to try to do takeout and see if it would be any better but it wasn't. I confirmed my order about three times in total with the same person. I load all three kids up in my car (two of which are babies) and go to pick up my food. Again, my order is confirmed when I pay. We get home, I unload my kids and my food is missing. I called Julio's told them what happened, load all three kids back in the car and drive back there. When I complained to the teenagers in the front there was zero reaction, no sorry, no let me get my manager for you, just blank looks with no worries.

I will never return to this establishment ever again, hopefully someone takes the time out to train their staff on how to work in the general public.

EDIT: I spoke to a manager and she gave me.a $15 credit to Julio's, she was very apologetic and very professional. Thank you for making the situation...

2021 UPDATE I ordered some chicken wings the other day and wow. Crispy wings with sauce on the side. Lots of hotsauce and blue cheese to go with my crispy wings. Just amazing.

Just started ordering food from Julio's a couple weeks ago. I have never had their food before so I was curious to see how good it is. Well the two pizzas were perfect. I ordered a plain cheese pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza. The buffalo chicken pizza was everything I want in a buffalo chicken pizza. My wife and kids enjoyed the plain cheese pizza. They really liked the sauce mixed across the top of the cheese. The star of the show is the crust. I have never seen a crust like that and I was very pleased with how crunchy it was. The next time I ordered pizza I asked for a side of pizza sauce so I could dip the crust in the sauce and believe me you will want to do the same thing. Just mix in some parmesan cheese with the sauce and get dipping. I also recommend ordering Monday-Thursday as they have a 2 large pizzas for 18.00 special . Still a great deal. This is my new go to...
