Richman's Ice Cream & Burger Co. — Restaurant in Bristol Township

HIGHLY ADVISE TO AVOID THIS PLACE. LOOK AT REVIEWS TOO. MANY BAD ONES ABOUT THIS PLACE. If you're looking to waste your money on the worst ice cream, then this place is for you! First its overpriced. I couldnt believe how small the cup was for a blaster, which was almost $9! Its their version of a dairy queen blizzard. Now to the ice cream. After i was handed my cup, i walked right to my car with it. Took one spoon from the top and it was like a very melted milk shake. Put the spoon back in and turned to the side stirring around and it was a 3/4 pure melted liquid under the top. I went back up with it and asked them if theres a problem with their ice cream machine because this is all liquid and not ice cream as i showed her it. She tells me it might be the way she spun it and that also its very hot out. Well thank you for the ice cream lesson. I didnt realize that in my 47yrs of existense, that ice cream melts when its hot. Heres the kicker though. It doesnt instantly melt in 4 seconds of a walk to my car after receiving. Clearly its poor quality made ice cream. Ive had ice cream from many stands and family owned business that come in tact as ice cream and doesnt melt instantly. I was just told sorry and as if i was just to accept it. I then said id like to give it back and get a refund. She told me to hold on, came back and i was told no refund and theyll make another. Well i get another one and guess what! Same exact thing given again! Now im pissed. I got whatever few bites of ice cream out of it. Before throwing away a half full cup loaded with peanut butter cups and pure melted ice cream. Complete waste of money and crap quality. If you cant produce a quality product and a customer wants a refund. Its their right to receive a refund if youre not selling what said product is supposed to be. My next step is to contact corporate ladder about this visist and experience and...

First time we went there, everything was great for what you'd expect for the price and style of restaurant. Burgers were good, fries were great, service was friendly. The last two times we have gone over the last month, it's just been a terrible experience. The cashiers/service staff are uninterested in taking orders and just seem unhappy to be there. They act like you more of a bother to them when you come in and try and order. When we had ordered a couple of days ago, the fries we ordered were wrong. We said something, the cashier came back with "Well we only charged you for regular fry" with a very annoyed tone. I had said I was willing to pay the difference, but I wanted what we asked for and didn't get. They proceeded to make the one cheese fry into a fully loaded, which was fine, except we had ordered a cheese fry AND a fully loaded. Again, explained to what I assume was the manager who brought the "corrected" order out. She brought out a side of cheese and said "Don't yell at my girls, they are training." Great... they need to be trained how to deal with issues rather than getting snarky immediately. Loaded fries were not good - the bacon was par cooked and seemed old. Pork Roll sandwich was cold, and the cheese dog roll fell apart. The experience of the food, the staff, everything - we won't be going back any time soon...

We visited Richman's twice during our vacation week. The first time was for milkshakes and loaded cheese fries. Our cheesefries were cooked to order, hot and delicious. The staff completely forgot about our milkshakes, so my husband had to go to the window and remind them when were were halfway through our snack. They apologized and made the shakes fresh. We enjoyed them and left satisfied. The next time we visited, we ordered a waffle sundae to split. It was terrible! The waffle tasted stale and arrived cold. The hot fudge was also icy cold and had hardened. We took it back to the window and asked what the problem was. We were told that the management has selected a new waffle product. They took ours back and threw it in the trash. They remade the sundae, this time in a waffle bowl. Again, the hot fudge was icy cold, even having just been applied to the sundae, and the waffle bowl was rock solid, fit to chip some teeth if one should try to bite. We gave up and threw it away. We've learned an important lesson. This is not the location to order a hot fudge sundae and especially one on any kind of waffle "product".
