Unprofessional, rude and careless manager. I went to chipotle for a bowl Wednesday night with my boyfriend. I decided to get a steak bowl with a half scoop of chicken and guac. When I went to the cash register, I noticed it was a few cents off of $20. I was confused so I asked how much the half scoop of chicken was. They said $3 something. So I asked how much a full scoop was and they got confused because they didn’t usually work the register and I understood that. But, I still didn’t want to get charged for a whole scoop. He asked his coworker for help and he didn’t know either? Then a manager (i think) with tattoos, gauged earlobes and a durag asked what was the problem. I asked how much a half scoop was compared to a full scoop and he said it was the same price. I explained that I got a half scoop a chicken so could I at least get the other half since I’d be paying for it anyways. He then flicked his hand up and said “Just give it to her” and walked away. I look over and hear him say out loud to a customer “Can’t argue with stupid.” I got very irritated because for one, the unprofessionalism is insane to me. Read moreI have to say, my experience at the Chipotle in Bristol, CT was absolutely terrible. The customer service here is beyond unacceptable. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a so-called certified trainer named Sonya, and she is the reason I will never return to this location.
Instead of handling a small, easily resolved issue with professionalism, Sonya chose to escalate it into a scene in front of a store full of customers. She was openly disrespectful, belittling, and condescending, raising her voice and making the entire situation completely uncomfortable for everyone around. What should have been a quick and simple visit turned into a public spectacle, all because of her unnecessary attitude.
For someone in a training or leadership role, her behavior was the opposite of professional. Yelling across the store and treating customers this way is unacceptable. It speaks volumes about the management and standards of this Chipotle if this is the type of person they have representing their brand.
There are plenty of other places to eat in the area, and I strongly suggest staying far away from this location. No one deserves to be treated the way I was here. Chipotle should be embarrassed to have someone like this wearing...

I waited at counter for good 2 minutes before anybody talked or came over to assist. Start a my order with Employee and stated what I wanted. I had to repeat myself 3 to 5 times. Keep in mind I was the only one in line. Portion size look a little weak . The final product didn't even come over the top of the Rim of the bottom part of the To go container. However, maybe they're having a bad night, but I get to the. Register and clearly the person running the register. Did not wanna be there the way because the way they were acting and their body language. However, everybody entitled to their bad days. But for some time, this establishment has ben in a steady decline, and I figured i'd give him one more shot one more time. But considering they weren't very busy. I was the only one in line getting food. It should have been Decently quick and efficient. That wasn't even the case. So I will not be going back to this restaurant.
