I went to Popeyes for the first time ever, and was very excited. Upon arriving I was shocked the dining room was closed with no note saying to use drive through. After waiting a long time, I got to the mic to order and was told to wait. Never once have I gone to a drive through and not been properly greeted, just told to wait. I was bombarded with ads for a bundle, which when I got to my store they told me they don't do that bundle there. So instead of $25 I paid $35 for two less tenders. It felt scammy like the deal didn't exist and they were just trying to get people like me to panic and pay far more because I was already there. After waiting so long I figured my food would be hot. I was wrong. I had cold chicken, cold soggy fries. The food quality was that of frozen food. I don't know why it was so pricey. The last straw was that three of my tenders were like 2 inches long and nothing but breading. So instead of getting my 12 tenders, I got 9 and some breading. So disappointed. I even got mashed potatoes which came in a tiny container that was not even half filled. I wish I took the photo. I do have pictures of the three tenders that all fit in the palm of my hand because they had no chicken just breading. The company feels scammy. This is not the first time I tried to go and my coupon didn't work. I have had better chicken from a grocery store. Honestly such a bad experience not only will I not be going there again, I think I will not be eating out anywhere for a long time. Save your money and time....
Read moreSo on Mother’s Day 2025 after visiting a Popeyes in southington at 1091 west st, and having the worst customer service and rude worker ever..that I ended up leaving in the middle of ordering. I immediately went to the closest Popeyes location which is this one. Thank god I did! As soon as I pulled up I was greeted politely, the young lady was patient and welcoming. We even shared a few quick laughs because I couldn’t make up my mind on what to order. She instantly made me feel comfortable to want to spend my money in this establishment. I wanted a 2 piece thigh meal and she told me it would be a few minutes but I didn’t mind waiting! When she brought my food to me..it was hot and fresh. I asked for her name she told me its Courtney! So shout out to Courtney for delivering exceptional service. She don’t know she completely made my Mother’s Day with her kindness. And for that as long as I’m in the Farmington area I will never go to another Popeyes! She deserves a raise…because a lot of people don’t know what it means to be of service and to have great customer service. That Mother’s Day she seemed to have been working the entire store by herself! From taking orders, making orders and running them out the door. She was doing her thing Thank you Courtney! I’ll...
Read morei was at this popeyes and i have never had service like i did today. there attitude was not what i would call customer type service at all. from what i have seen they really need a refresher course in how to deal with customers. i also noticed that there was not enough chicken legs on hand to serve people when they come into order chicken. and also the fries that were sitting in the pan looked like they had been there for more that what should have been the alotta time. they should have made sure that there is always fresh fries at the ready at all times. even if it is a small amount. the reason why i know something about this is that i had worked at a place sometime ago that was called kenny rogers roasters in cromwell ct, and we always had fresh chicken on hand for people the minute they walked into through the door and we always made the guests feel at home when they were there. i was the lead cook there and i always made sure that people were happy if they were not, i always wanted to know, they would come to me and tell me and i would go out of my way to make sure that there visit was something that left them with a smile...
