As I got out of my car in the parking lot there was group of young men philosophizing over the various uses and flexibility of the Nword. I thought to myself, this is going to be a unique dining experience.
I walk in and the 2 young ladies working the hostess stand looked at me like I was the first human being they had ever seen in their lives. As I asked for a table for 1, one of the young ladies kept darting looks between me and an apparent confrontation between a manager and a elderly patron. My best guess is that the woman had lost her dentures underneath the booth she was dining in, and the manager did not want to go under the table to grab them.
I ordered a coke and proceeded to head to the buffet which to my surprise was full and plentiful with a nice assortment.
Some of the highlights of the food were the pepper steak, general tso's chicken, and the chili shrimp which were all nice and hot and seemed fresh.
Some of the foods were a bit run of the mill including the dinner rolls that absorbed a strange amount of moisture from the steam table, the baked sausages that were either from today or last weeks Yankees game, and the lo mein that seemed to just be Aldi Brand spaghetti coated in what could only be some kind of laxative based oil. There was also a roast beef which had the texture of a football the was dehydrated to resemble the consistency of a slim jim (no knives at the tables).
The lowlights included a few items that definitely were not being kept at a safe temperature. This included an extremely cold mac and cheese that somehow had the color of cheese without the flavor of cheese. The typical fried shrimp you would get at most buffets that still have the heads and legs attached to clearly show the customer, "these have not been de-pooped". But most surprising in all of this was the large tray of baked beans that was purposely placed in the salad bar section for some reason. Purposefully cold baked beans, interesting selection.
The staff was attentive and cleared my plates in a timely fashion and refilled my soda fairly quick so I'd say the service at the table was fine.
It takes me about 25 minutes to get home from Bristol, and let me tell you, I barely made it. I think it was the laxative lo mein but it may have been the cold fried shrimp.
All in all for $26 including a 20% tip I feel like it was pretty decent. It's a Chinese buffet, not a Las Vegas buffet people. It's just good bang for your buck as long as your selective.
4/5 stars

I’m going to be very straightforward here—this place was a huge disappointment. Let’s start with the seating: it’s ridiculously cramped. No matter how thin you are, if someone is sitting at another table, you won’t be able to pass through. It felt overcrowded, and there wasn’t enough space for larger tables. While the behavior of some customers wasn’t great, that’s not the restaurant’s fault, but the tight seating definitely made the experience worse.
The plates they give you are terrible. The base of the plate is disproportionately small and placed weirdly in the middle, which makes it constantly tilt when you’re cutting anything. It’s frustrating and honestly just impractical.
Now, onto the food. It was very average—basically what you’d expect from any other Chinese buffet. Some of the labels were missing entirely, and others were completely inaccurate. For example, the bao buns were labeled as red bean, custard, and pork, but every single one was actually red bean. When I pointed this out to a staff member (who should know better, especially since I’ve worked in food), they just shrugged it off and didn’t seem to care. What if someone with an allergy had eaten one? That’s a major safety issue.
The menu, which was hyped up on social media, promised a variety of cultural foods, but what they offered was very limited. One plate of plátanos does not constitute “different cultures of food.” And honestly, plátanos are not even Mexican—they’re from the Caribbean. The food was also cold and lacked seasoning, making it all the more disappointing.
As for the hibachi section, the restaurant’s promotional material showed hibachi tables, but there were none. It’s clear that this place was rushed—both the construction and the menu—and it shows in every aspect of the experience.
All in all, this place isn’t worth your time or money. It seems like the only people who are giving it good reviews are influencers, people who don’t care about quality, or those just following a trend. Save your money, skip this place, and either cook at home or visit a small, family-owned restaurant that actually cares about the food they serve. Can someone please tell me why the dessert was so salty as well as a baker that baked and sells goods no pastry should have so much salt in it that it taste like a whole bottle was...
Read moreThis was my second time already in less then a week. I see lots of negative reviews and some I understand are legit and some i think give them another try in a few weeks before giving negative review. People have to remember they just opened and was not expecting to be that overwhelmed at all. It's going to take a few weeks to work all the bugs out. The help has been outstanding. They're trying their best to keep up the demand. The restaurant was slammed even today at 330pm. And yes some people say the name is Hibachi but there is no Hibachi grill working to get that food. They are doing thier best to get it back up and running to add that food experience which myself I cannot wait for. And another complaint which I agreed with is there was more American food then Chinese. They are having a tough time understanding exactly how much food to keep up with demand until it levels off or getting the right amount of food in. So once again give them another shot in a couple weeks and I'm sure they are reading these post to try and adjust. Just hating to hate is not proper constructive criticism especially when some of it is just working out how much food to have and having all thier equipment up and running. As of now I love it and it will only get better and hopefully it will for future customers also. Thank you to the owner Audrey and the manager Jason for doing their best to try and make it a better experience and understanding that's it only been 4 days since they opened so cut them some slack. I'm giving them not 5 stars but 10 for the all around experience and it's not fair to give them less without understanding the whole process that it takes time to work the...
