Slow staff not very interested in helping. I stood upfront in line without being spoken to for 6 full minutes before the staff even acknowledged me. I then watched the grill empty as no one was taking any orders and slowly fill again from online orders. Another five minutes passed and I was finally able to place my order. The gentleman that took my order was so disinterested I almost felt compelled to apologize for interrupting his cleaning of the shake machine. This was 7pm on a Thursday, it was a little busy but not a dinner rush or anything, according to google less busy than usual. Online orders were coming in but overall I still don't know why it was so slow other than the glaringly obvious fact that the staff had no interest in being there. Plenty of other choices in the area, I'll pick one that wants my business. I blame management for creating this environment. UPDATE: I did follow up to give feedback by email as requested, I was asked for location and replied with it and never contacted or replied to after the initial contact. Apparently there's a disconnect between corporate and franchise. It feels disingenuous when they respond immediately to a review asking for an email but privately they don't respond at all.
UPDATE They removed their message to ask me to email them after my last update. I wonder if anyone ever emails them? Or if the ironically named email "wecare"...
Read moreFirst time going to this location and honestly only second time going to a Wayback Burger. Placed an online order which was a very easy, well laid out process.
Burgers - the single burgers were very good! Plenty of topping options(included in price) and they were a great size for the money. My only knock on this part of the meal was they forgot to put ketchup on one of the burgers and it was shown a selected option on the receipt. Not a huge deal as there were ketchup packets in the bag.
Chili Cheese Fries - these are a favorite for my wife so we had to try them! We got a large and yes it was expensive (around $8 I think) but the portion was big. Plenty of chili and cheese. I do wish the fries were a tad crispier but can’t expect much with those toppings.
Vanilla Milkshake - got this item free as part of an online order promotion. It was a medium sized milkshake. Plenty of whipped cream (optional) and the milkshake was a great consistency. However…. It had an odd after taste. We could not pinpoint the taste exactly but it was not a great one. Almost tasted like an imitation vanilla flavor? Probably won’t get another milkshake based on that after taste.

I guess the staff decided that because it’s thirty minutes to close they aren’t making milkshakes anymore. I guess they make their own rules to get out early. I understand you want to go home but you submitted the job application to leave at 8PM, it’s not going to kill you to see your shift through the end. The staff energy was really weird and unpleasant . Even when I was signing up for the milkshake reward the girl was like “we are done with milkshakes for the night.” How about putting a sign on the board “no milkshakes after 7PM” LOL. Weird.
