Decided to come here today and do a loop trail. I started where the dog park was and did a complete circle and came across the old abandoned oil barge which was truly amazing. Somebody recently told me where it was and of course I got out and went and looked for it there are a lot of dogs that are off leashed her running around. Spirit different trails that you can go off from the main path which will lead you to the oil factory it is truly amazing and if you are into exploring old and banded places I would definitely recommend checking this place out I definitely give it a 5-star rating it's truly awesome.

Amazing park for hiking/walking. Dogs allowed off leash. Trail was well maintained as there was zero trash and no overgrowth on the main trail. I wish the trails were labeled better since this was my first time and I got a little lost getting to the pond from the dog park entrance but I was able to figure it out. Have Google take you to the Bristol dog park or directly to the West end of the pond as maps took me to a neighborhood with no parking or trail access. The pond was absolutely beautiful and I saw others fishing and kayaking while my dog jumped right on in. Definitely coming back.

I chose this location to walk based on other Google reviews. Unfortunately the trail around the pond has not been maintained. You're not able to go all the way around. If you park in the lots to the south you can only walk up to the blue trail on the west side of the pond. And if you go to the east side of the pond you can only walk to the northern tip of the pond before the trail is lost. Bring bug spray. Lots of fishing access. Trails are very, very slippery when wet. They use boards to traverse the wetlands area but they're very slippery and rotted through in many areas.

Took my chocolate lab there…. To be honest the only nice thing was the actual pond lol, she loved that.

When we pulled into the parking lot there was a few signs about dog safety, etc. there were no signs saying how many trails, how long, etc. we went down a trail. The bridges were broken. There was one bridge were my dog stepped and the end where she was on sunk INTO the water. The others were missing boards, deformed. Huge gaps and or shaky. During the trail there was no sense of direction. No posts etc. on top of that there was multiple trees that were fallen down into the path. And they have been there for awhile due to it rotting and growth on them i have huge slices on my legs from branches. There is also alot of swampy wet/muddy ground with no way to get through it as you sink into it. As we were walking a trail we were lead straight to someones back yard. Nothing blocking us or re directing us lol. There was also a decent amount of pet waste. All in all i would NOT recommend. We went to sessions...
