Notes:
Newly purchased, renamed and opened. I have been three times so my review will be cumulative review of all visits.
Service:
The waitresses each time have always been super nice. Each visit I have had a new one and haven’t had any complaints except for one. She was a bit too chatty which I didn’t mind when at our table but when I was looking for condiments to eat my app I sat and watched as she went to like three different tables and the computer to enter stuff while I sit and waited while my food was got cold. Otherwise they are always on top of their game, enjoyable, attentive and top notch.

Portions:
No complaints here! I have not had any issues with the amount of food given. It is nothing crazy or over the top but definitely not skimping out! The last time they were there I did notice less steak tips given than previous times but when I inquired I was told there was a new cook in back and was still learning. This didn’t bother me too much since this is newly opened and still getting their bearings.

Taste:
The taste speaks for itself! My two favorite meals are the tender apps and the fried haddock plate. The steak tips and burgers are up there as well so it really depends what mood your in for. I have only ever tasted one bad item which was a side of corn. It was tasteless, bland and actually tasted waterlogged. That was one time and definitely not worth losing any points over! I literally want to try everything off the menu at least once which is bad and good at the same time...

Value:
This is what it comes down to right? The prices at first were amazingly low for instance a lunch steak tip meal was $10.99 for about five tips (or one strip) and were more than enough. Not sure if the orders have been going up or what but now the price has gone up to $12.99. Again, still newly opened and learning is the excuse I am giving. I am not a fan of the upcharge to sub a side for a side salad. Lettuce is a lot cheaper than some of the provided sides I am sure so for $2 to change is a bit much. Also, not to defend the all the grass eaters out there but there are like six different side options that are potatoes yet a side salad isn’t one? Hopefully they hear us roar and change this as it maybe my biggest current issue. Otherwise overall they are affordable for kids and family alike.

Overall:
Bracks is my local favorite restaurant hands down! I will keep going through the speed bumps but who doesn’t love a place where the owner is the actual food runner?! Talk about putting your everything into it! My quest to order one of everything will continue and this place was more than WORTH...

Some restaurants serve food and drinks. Brack’s in Brockton delivers an experience—and it’s all because of the powerhouse team running the floor and the bar.
Kameryn, the manager, is a force. Her leadership is obvious from the moment you walk in. She’s not just checking boxes—she’s setting the tone for the whole atmosphere. You can see the pride she takes in her team, and it shows in how well everyone performs. She’s hands-on, focused, and runs the place with a balance of professionalism and warmth that makes both staff and customers feel valued. That’s rare—and it matters.
At the bar, you’ve got a dream team: Meghan, Liz, and Jordan. • Meghan brings the perfect mix of speed and personality. Read moreThis place used to be great. I wouldn't say anything I've ever had there was "amazing" per se, but up until the last few months I would say you were always at least guaranteed a solid meal. But lately things have changed. The last two or three times I've eaten here it's been quite poor. Tonight was the last straw. A burger that was ordered as "well done with nothing but mozzarella" was served with everything on it and was extremely pink in the middle. Not even close to well done. It had to be discarded as I ordered my meal for takeout and didn't realize till I had gotten home. I was told fifteen minutes on the phone, but it ended up being closer to a half hour.
While there waiting for my meal another woman that was also waiting received her food, left, then returned a few minutes later as she'd been given the wrong order. They did apologize and get her correct order within about five minutes, but when she made a comment to the hostess as she left regarding her dissatisfaction (I assume), she was only responded to with awkward stares and then giggling from nearby staff after she walked out the door. Not very professional. There was routinely three to four staff members hanging out around the hostess desk the entire time I was there, and they seemed more interested in having a good time than working. I've got nothing against people having fun at work, but when incorrect orders are going out and food is being miscooked, it becomes more of an issue I think. Just sub-par all across the board this evening. Until this place gets back on track they're a hard...
