I have always loved daddyâs dairy soft serve, but I have a nut allergy that makes it tough to try new flavors. Iâve reached out to the owners in the past expressing things other ice cream shops do to make hard ice cream flavors accessible for people with food allergies, but was met with bitterness & hostility saying how my request was out of line; when just about every other place in the area has accommodated this. I hadnât been in a few years til the other day, and I was hopeful procedures had changed. They hadnât changed at all, and they told me they couldnât even mix a frappe for me since the âfrappe mixer isnât cleaned thoroughlyâ which is honestly kind of gross. I was offered sorbet which is a let down if youâre expecting ice cream. I settled for soft serve, which was as delicious as ever. I would just call on management to do better. Coming from someone who worked at an ice cream shop, tightening down on allergens isnât as tough as you say, and by making more of your product accessible to the public youâll in turn bring in more profit. I know Iâd go more if I could...
Read moreSunday night I walked in all 3 servers were cleaning up. One stopped and simply kept staring as if she was frozen in time. This lasted for sometime. She then got unfrozen or came back to earth not sure what was going on. Just to clarify no one else was waiting while all of this was happening. After I was being served one of the other two asked if I was being helped (that was annoying). I said no but I was ignored earlier. His response was I had work to do. I donât claim to know what the protocol is but in this industry I would think your job is to serve the customers. Itâs dependent on service to the client and that would be the priority. I was utterly confused disappointed and disgusted by his response. Iâve been there before and this was never the behavior. Something absolutely changed and I donât think I care to know what that is. I just know he was NASTY. Iâll drive to Stoughton Randolph or Braintree if I feel the need or go to Crescent Ridge...
Read moreWill NOT go to this location again⌠Iâll stick with Tom and Jimmyâs from now on. The young man with the blonde ponytail (kind of looks like Joe Dirt) was extremely rude and smug, we were in there with two young children who were excited to choose an ice cream flavor and he was extremely impatient with us. Also he and the girl working kept looking at each other and shooting each other looks like they were annoyed and would rather be doing something else.
Also, the freezers were disgusting. The peppermint ice cream looked like it had a cockroach leg in it.
I wouldnât normally leave a review but I felt this was necessary as this is an ICE CREAM SHOP where you will be dealing with children on the regular so if you donât have the patience for it, maybe you should find...
