Can’t believe I’m leaving a bad review for Chik Fil A. Went last night and bought my family a meal. Used curbside pick up. As usual, the service was excellent and speedy fast. Noticed we were missing the 2year olds meal. Figured I would run in real quick, no big deal!
They greeted me, I told them the issue, they took my coveted pink receipt, handed it to a guy at the long table and in the chaos it was misplaced. I stood patiently waiting for 20 minutes while they helped other customers, even after letting them know again that I was waiting on a missing item. Finally went back up to the counter and the young man asked if there was something I needed. I told him I was waiting on a curbside kids meal. He immediately knew it was a 4 piece grabbed everything and handed me the bag. I asked for my receipt back because you know, that was half of the incentive for this Chik Fil A journey on a crazzzzy night. He said he didn’t have it and was ready to move on. I told him it was on the table, he looked, couldn’t find it. I asked him what I needed to do to get my receipt back and he said he could scan the app and re print. Well, the curbside order was done on my siblings phone and she was waiting in the car this whole time with the hungry 2 year old, who’s meal I had run in for.
Feeling frustrated and shocked (Chik Fil A is usually perfect!!!) I left and decided I would call this morning. Called this morning at 8:00 and was told that it was the business owners decision not to re print receipts because people are taking advantage of the deal they have going on. She asked if I had filed a complaint and I said no because I figured I could call in the morning ( they were SERIOUSLY BUSY) and it fix the situation because Chik Fil A is known for top notch customer service; so much so that they should run the government queuing programs!!! Lol!
She told me unfortunately they aren’t allowed to re print receipts and she’s not sure why that employee said that but she couldn’t since it was the following business day.
I completely understand, I do. But the loss of this receipt wasn’t my doing, it was laid on the table and lost by an employee. I waited extremely patiently and ate cold food that night after spending close to $50 on dinner. I tried to remedy the situation this morning by calling and that didn’t help. I’m sorry, but I’m extremely disappointed.
I truly believed the management of this location would fix the issue. It’s a receipt for a $40 meal, is that worth losing business over? I would even be willing for them to check my story with the employees working last night. Oh...

Well, today I went through the drive-thru like I usually do and it was long as usual. Well, I ordered a Cobb salad and apparently the eggs are recalled. You would think they would let you know when ordering but they didn't tell me and I didn't find until I arrived home. On top of that the salad was not fresh tasting (this had NEVER happened at Chick-fil-A for me before). They also didn't give me the sauces for the kid's meal chicken nuggets I purchased. Also when I was waiting at the drive-thru window I overheard a very loud conversation talking about someone complaining about getting a discount because of not having something on their salad and not returning, which I now assume was eggs. Well, the worker told the manager and the manager said well that's on them. Our company will be fine and they can go somewhere else. I was very surprised! I would expect something like this from McDonald's, but not Chick-fil-A. I called when I got home because I noticed I didn't have eggs on my salad and that it didn't taste very fresh and of course mentioned the missing sauces since I was already on the phone. I was told sorry...they should have mentioned it to you, we will make sure to do it next time. I politely told her that I would have ordered a chicken sandwich or something totally different to begin with if I was aware that my Cobb salad wouldn't have eggs when ordering my food. Read moreCame home after a long days work on my feet and i was tired and hungry. Chickfila is on my way home so I stop to get my food and I should get home with everything i ordered but that wasnt the case. Super inconvenient and has not been the first time with this location. If you've ever been in the service business and you inconvenienced a customer you always check your attitude at the door. Customer 101 is the customers always right. You go over and above to keep them as a customer. You do not wait for them to ask for you to make it right you make it right because for starters you inconvenienced them in the first place. The minute we lose the value of a customer we have lost the most important part of business.
Thank you Tristan for making things right and actually listening to my concerns. The young lady in question may need just little bit more help going forward but I'm sure with management like Tristan that will happen.
Thought I’d take another shot at this place and they got my order wrong again. Btw they need to give the manager on duty a good talking to. Horrible customer service skills. Tristian should be promoted for his excellence in handling customers....
