On the afternoon of October 25th, my husband and I decided to have lunch at Hideaway Pizza in Broken Arrow. We’ve been loyal customers of Hideaway Pizza, frequently visiting various locations, but this experience was beyond disappointing. Upon arrival, the waitress seemed disinterested and had an attitude that suggested she didn’t want to be there. Despite this, we placed our usual order: a cauliflower pizza for me and a medium pizza for my husband. We know the prices well, as we order these items frequently. When the bill arrived, we were shocked to see that my cauliflower pizza was charged at approximately $18.00 instead of the usual $13 and some change. My husband, a retired Army Officer, pointed out the discrepancy to the waitress, showing her the correct price on the menu. We also mentioned that we are tax-exempt, presenting our Oklahoma tax-exempt card and military IDs. I am also a Army Veteran. The waitress’s response was dismissive and nonchalant. She reluctantly went to get the manager. When the manager arrived, he shrugged his shoulders as my husband explained the discrepancy, giving the impression of “What do you want me to do about it?” This dismissive attitude left us feeling undervalued and frustrated. As military veterans, we expect a certain level of respect and accuracy, which was sorely lacking in this visit. This experience completely ruined the happiness and joy we felt when we first entered the facility. What should have been a pleasant lunch turned into a very unpleasant experience. Though Hideaway Pizza is usually a nice place to eat, this visit ruined it for us. We are so frustrated by this experience that we plan to inform all our friends in the Veteran community and strongly advise them to avoid this location due to the unacceptable service we received. There needs to be some serious retraining in customer service and management at this location. I usually don’t write reviews, but I couldn’t let this go. It feels like customer service has just gone out the window. What is happening in the world today? Of course, the star of the show is the pizza. Hideaway has a menu that balances classics with creative specialty pies, and every option is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The crust is perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy inside—and the toppings are generous without ever feeling overwhelming. One of my personal favorites is “The Big Country,” loaded with hearty meats and just the right amount of cheese. But no matter which pizza you order, you can’t go wrong.
Beyond the pizza, Hideaway has plenty of other menu highlights. The appetizers, especially the cheesy bread and fried mushrooms, are a perfect way to start the meal. The salads are crisp and fresh, which is a nice balance to the heavier dishes, and the pasta options hold their own too. And let’s not forget the desserts—if you’ve got room, the sweet treats are worth saving space for.
Service is another big reason Hideaway shines. The staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and efficient, even during busy times. They go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is smooth and enjoyable.
The atmosphere is casual but lively, with colorful décor and a fun, almost quirky personality that makes Hideaway stand out from other pizza places. It’s a great spot for families, date nights, or even celebrating with a group of friends.
All in all, Hideaway Pizza delivers on every level—food, service, and atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back...

I ordered $30 worth of pizza online and there was confusion I guess with the website, because I CHOOSE to believe the manager is an honest and upstanding man!! Da Bomb pizzas was ordered and it came out with only pepperoni and pineapple. I could not call back or go back at the time of the incident for all the busyness at work. After work, I went by to present my case prepared with the order, picture and receipt. I had to park in carry out due to parking lot being full and people waiting outside to get in - the pizza IS THAT GOOD. Carside gal came out so I said I’ll be in to talk to a manager when I get off the phone. SOON - a manager appears and I go ahead and present my case with all my back up info. He explained the website has done this a few times (removes all the extra ingredients) and is quick to offer to remake my pizza. I’m so good with that!! As I wait he comes back out and offers a me a drink. Then HE returns with my drink and gives me status of my freshly ordered pizza. He comes out again and brings me pizza bucks and again gives me status of my order (all the while my daughter is overhearing this on the phone). Final trip, YES!! HE BRINGS OUT MY ORDER AND THANKS ME. 😳 Willie, YOU are an amazing manager and wonderful asset to HideAway 🍕 No matter what you do YOU WILL GO FAR!
