How do you find out what you like? Well, like everything else you've come to enjoy, you try it! I wasn't aware of how popular Society Burger has become since it was introduced to the Tulsa Area. Now that I've tried it, I can see why this craft American kitchen is a fan favorite.
I visited the Broken Arrow location on Saturday November 4th, 2023 for dinner with a friend. Not my idea but I was pleased to try it out. We arrived at 7pm and, somehow, the weather was fairly decent that night. The location is very attractive: huge glass windows, spacious flooring, wooden décor and black trim throughout the restaurant. There's a host podium upon entry and we were seated promptly. We chose to sit in the patio/outdoor area which was separated by the glass windows but open to the parking lot. I ordered the Shroom Burger with sweet potato fries and a Moscow mule. My friend ordered one of the Impossible Burgers. We also ordered fried pickles for an appetizer. The fried pickles came first, in less than 10mins, while the burgers arrived 5 or so minutes after that. Unfortunately, the fried pickles weren't as enjoyable as I'd hoped, some had a red-ish hue and the breading wasn't crispy enough. Almost the same issue with the sweet potato fries, they were decent, well cooked, but I would've liked them to be more potato-y. BUT, the burger was AMAZING! The bun was so very soft, the double patty was crispy and juicy enough to blend with the swiss cheese and mushrooms. An excellent combination of ingredients. I think my friend enjoyed her burger too because she didn't say a word until she was finished. I don't recall the server but she provided good, decent service.
Overall, I think Society Burger is a great high-level burger option for all the occasions that won't break the bank. The space is versatile, could be a sports bar or it could be your local burger joint. Either way, there's plenty of space and the main-menu options seem to deliver. I'd line up again to try some more of their burgers and even their other...
Read moreI wanted to try this place since I hadn't and God wanted to give me a treat for all the work I had been doing praying and delivering people all over Broken arrow and Tulsa. I'm primarily a vegan so they did have one option which is good otherwise I couldn't get anything. I tried the vegan burger with vegan cheese. First off it was made in 8 min wow great job! It was brought to me curbside within seconds of calling great job. The person was friendly on phone and in person great job! Now the problem was the food. I paid $16 with tax for burger. One the burger was small . The pattie were small it was maybe 400 calories ok. The taste wasn't bad but nothing fantastic. I had better burger elsewhere vegan of course. I've been vegan primarily for decade and eliminated most all health problems so I stick with it for health. Another problem I paid $16 andi got no fries or side item. Are u serious!!! I was homeless on streets for 4 months and God proved all the wasted food in bags in garbage. But I pay u $16 and I get 400 calories of food. I got a massive tasty burger from shaky Jakes vegan and half pound of fries for like less money. I went to arbys and bought large fries for $3.5 and God had me give $5 tip to the person there as they work hard and don't mske much. Things need to change or else u guys won't do well. God sees the company and it's going down. U better change the value and u better have more healthy options as that's future of america to restore us all! But I'm sure if u get a large burger of animal products it's better value and will not digest for days haha. No more restaurants til u change or else God will rearrange ur...
Read moreStopped in to grab a beer and some food while my husband worked a bit. We were able to sit in the enclosed patio area with our dogs which was awesome! They provided a dog bowl on request for water which is always appreciated!
They have a nice selection of craft & tap beer and a variety of burgers for almost anyone from an everything burger to an impossible burger! Vegan and gluten free options are also available!
We split the Pim’ and Jam burger which was quite good. I enjoy the double smash patties and love pimento cheese! I always love trying different kinds of burgers and would definitely get this again! As a side we got the jalapeno tots. They were interesting. I couldn’t quite figure them out. With a slight bit of heat and decent crunch I wasn’t mad but they were very dense. Not the normal tot that I have had. I probably wouldn’t order them again but someone probably loves them.
Also, thank you for letting us order bacon for the pups! They loved it!
We did feel a bit rushed. Our waitress sat us and instantly asked what we wanted to drink and we haven’t been there before and didn’t have a menu yet. Once we ate our burger but still had some beer left she brought the check to pay and we were looking to get another round. We ended up being able to but were not sure if they were closing, shift changing or just wanted us out. It was very empty at the time so we were confused on not wanting us to stay...
