My mom has always loved this place and I've always loved the cakes that she has purchased from here. Yet so I placed an order for her birthday party that was yesterday August 6th. I picked up my cake for her August 5th upon picking up the cake I wanted to buy some bread. I went to go make my bread purchase in which then I was overcharged for the bread. I was charged the price for a bread and a cookie. Which was a transaction I said that was unauthorized because I only wanted the bread they said it was canceled out and the order never went through for the first transaction so here I swipe my card again for the loaf of bread I was trying to purchase because the cake was already paid for. I did that over the phone. Only to take everything was done I go home and on the 6th the morning of the party I noticed on the bank account there is a charge for $7 and some change along with my bread transaction so two transactions in total one of which was unauthorized and I even expressed my concern when I was there and I was told don't worry it did not go through. So I got a refund on the phone yesterday morning for the $7 and some change for the one transaction that should not have been there. Only to have her birthday party in the afternoon and realize they made the cake wrong. I requested the whipped topping not the sweet frosting that typically comes with the cake. Here I was given the wrong frosting which really sucks because my mom does not like this frosting they put on here which is the whole reason I ordered the frosting I did, and ordered from here because she likes their cake. Only to have them disappoint me three different times for one cake. Very disappointed and wish I went elsewhere. I can't even explain my disappointment, I have ate in their cake multiple times for my mom and other family members. My experience here was awful the only thing that was enjoyable is the old man was kind enough to help me carry the car. Also I am very glad I looked at the cake when they gave it to me because they handed me someone else's cake to begin with. Ordered a mother's day cake and my mom does not like buttercream icing. I asked for real whip cream icing and received cake with SOME whip cream icing but buttercream was snuck inside the cake layers and mixed in with the whip cream as well. It's like, they ran out of whip cream and had to finish up the cake with buttercream. I was hesitant to order from here as I also read someone's review about requesting whip cream icing and got buttercream instead. What if I had a family member that was allergic to buttercream? This goes with anything else that was not requested and then snuck into the cake. No regard for customers' specific requests. I will be ordering elsewhere at this point. Cake decoration was pretty, but I prefer an ugly cake that tastes great rather than a pretty cake that tastes like boxed yellow cake and with a confusing mix of whip cream and...

We are from Wisconsin but now live out of state. Frequently we visit our home state during the year, and always make a point to stop in each trip for a wonderful treat. This last visit, however, we came into the store to find that there was only one small table and a man just sitting there reading a newspaper and not eating or drinking anything. It was so nice when there were a few places to sit! We ended up going back to our car to eat and it just wasn't the same. Trying not to get crumbs and powdered sugar all over the place.
