Tastee Treat — Restaurant in Brookfield

Stopped in on the way back home from St. Louis. I was looking for something that wasn't a chain and decided to give Tastee Treat a shot. I'm glad I did, as the service was fast and friendly. I ordered the hamburger (loose meat), fries and drink combo. Plus, after surveying the menu board to my astonishment, they had a blackberry shake (I've never seen blackberry as an option for a shake, anywhere). I'm glad I gave this place a go, as everything was delicious. A local, that I was in line with was complaining about the food. I thought it a shame how he doesn't appreciate having this slice of Americana in his town. I enjoyed it and I'm positive...

I've been going here for 29 years i love it i love the service the atmosphere and the food. Its always delicious. I've drove two hours each time i go just for the food. I hope they stay in bussiness forever because i dont know one other place in all of the united states that you can get a Wilbur Special or "BETTER BURGER" like their's. I recommend this place 100% to anyone and i challenge any place that offers a "maid rite" to make better sandwiches...

Beautiful day for some shakes. Peanut butter, cherry- neither one disappointed. Had to wait a bit, but they were busy & working as fast as they could. Tastee Treat has been around as long as I can remember (at least 60 years). Remember chocolate dip cones as a treat with Dad as a child. Glad to have a hometown ice...
