My partner and I chose this restaurant for a special occasion meal and it was a perfect choice. We sat inside on a hot evening, and the ambience was just right for a romantic dinner. Servers could not have been more kind and attentive. We had the 3 empanadas and the arepa pelua for appetizers––both were delicious, and served with an amazing sauce. For main entrees I ordered the seared tuna (atún) which was delectable (and surprisingly very healthy) and my partner had the mixed grill, which was also terrific. The quesillo (similar to flan) for dessert was just the right way to wrap up the meal.

We are still new to Boston, and Orinoco will hold a special memory for us as the first place we had a sit-down meal in a lovely restaurant during the past year. Our gratitude to the owner and everyone who works there for everything they did to make this experience so memorable.

For those who are frustrated with restaurants for slower service, or not having exactly everything on the menu just right, I hope you can find some sympathy and patience for anyone who works in the food industry right now. There are so many behind-the-scenes reasons (very hard to hire people right now for all jobs, supply chains are still a mess) why restaurants may not be able to provide exactly the dining experience you may be accustomed to. It was so obvious to us that everyone at this restaurant was putting in their very best effort to make our meal a wonderful one. . . and it was!
