I love everything about this beautiful paradise, hidden away from the nasty rat race I deal with every day . People are really getting distracted from what really matters out there. Technology is not the answer. Mother Earth and her many wonderful woodlands and oceans provide more than enough for us , meaning people. It's disgusting watching how selfish and narrow minded we have become. I stopped looking at pointless social media fakeness post , and also canceled my cable provider. I'm starting to realize now that the media will be the end of civilization and possibly humanity. I'm not preaching or trying to convince anyone I'm right, but just try to stop caring about tv and cell phones. It helped me so much.

A lovely park with a walking trail and a pond. There were a lot of geese and ducks. A beautifully tranquil nature spot right in the heart of the city. You can find nearby granite stairs tucked away throughout the park. The trails are only for hiking, and dogs are welcome. Mountain biking is prohibited. It is about a 20-minute walk to Jamaica Pond, so you can see both sights in one day. I would not recommend walking at night because there are no lights.

This is our favorite part of JP. The trails are beautiful, easy for anyone to do, but diverse enough to keep things interesting even after we've come here nearly every day for the last 5 months. Lots of dogs come here and the majority are friendly, but please be aware that some are not, so your recall with your dog(s) needs to be extremely well to be safe--otherwise, just leash them. It is our favorite spot any time of the year!
