In the beginning I thought I have found my new sea food place.. After few visits, feelings changed drastically and have not returned since. Kind of sad as I was in the pursuit of a great sea food restaurant. As a huge fan of crabs, mussels, and shrimp I was initially thrilled about this place. The food would come out looking decent in Cajun fashion, however very spicy and very oily. On my next trip I decided to try regular, then medium to adjust the spicy levels shortly after, and quickly realized regular and medium spice levels are nonexistent in this restaurant. They will just cut back on salt, which pretty much ruins the decent flavor. I also inquired about crabs, and the response I was given was, "Do not have and don't know "..Obviously a seasonal item, but it's during season!! Disappointing. Then, what really rubbed me the wrong way was when I asked for a cup of water, this boy (children working, with no understanding of customer service) hands it to me and right away I notice hair in the cup... I discreetly dump it out and ask for another water. The second cup was handed to me with this smirk on the boys face and notice this yellow blob in my water. I am not certain if that was intentional or not, but really makes me lose faith in a Sea Food Restaurant if they cannot properly handle the water, and cannot imagine how the sea food is handled.. I was upset, told the girl ( another child with no customer service), at the register and noticed they sold bottled water. Not a once of any remorse shown. At this point it completely ruin my appetite and charges me $1, for a bottle of Costco water, as I was no longer willing to drink their house water. LOL!!! Well that was the straw that broke the camels back..Mistakes happen, but more importantly how the mistake is handled/corrected is what matters the most. Read moreI love the crawfish at this place very much. But this review is for the customer service. It was extremely terrible. I have been here many times before. The place is quite small so every time we have a 6-7 people party, the owners and the old employees (African American ladies) were very pleased to help us organize the seat. They allowed us to fit in 6 people in the booth of 4 with an extra chair. This time a new employee (she called herself the general manager) is so rude to us. She was yelling to us to wait for 2 tables to be combined because “We can’t sit 6 people in a 4-tops” as she said. Meanwhile we just try to give an idea that we can fit in a 4 tops so we should be fine. We told her that the owners allowed us before as she talked back at us “well the owners are not here and I am the GM so it’s my rule”. She has never once appologize us for not accommodating. She was talking very rudely (never ever a hostess or a GM should be talking to customers like that) yet still insisted on those rules she claimed with such an attitude. I wouldn’t be mad at all if she was polite and friendly to our family. This Caucasian lady with some tattoos and piercings even made attitude behind my back (my cousins saw it all) that she said something like “oh you just can stay mad and cant have the table”. She was like trying to argue with us customers without apologizing or anything nicer than that. I really don’t like how she treated us as if she didn’t give a damn if we were upset or not. Read moreThe food here is always amazing, however, the manager, or whomever she is (a white lady) has always been rude on every occasion that I have been here, either to us, or other customers. The first occasion, she was on the phone with someone who seemed to have gotten the wrong order and was screaming at the person on the phone saying it was their fault they got the wrong food because they should have checked it. I understand they have a policy where the customers should check their food before leaving the store, however, this was the wrong approach and horrible customer service on her part. This next incident involved my conversation with her over the phone about an order I wanted to place. I planned on placing 2 separate orders and she did not ring them up in favor of my request, mind me assuring her multiple times that I wanted two separate orders. When I asked her to correct this, she quickly got defensive with me and claimed it was something on my end that went wrong.
