Burgers, Shakes & Cream — Restaurant in Brookneal

It's definitely the cheapest restaurant I've been to. Prices are what you would have paid in 2016. Love getting for breakfast biskets and gravy. Lunch or dinner double cheeseburger or a fired chicken sandwich. I do recommend asking to keep fries down an additional 30-45 sec if you want that crunch. Night shifts are the friendly staff, and the cook mel in the morning is amazing working front in back is a hatd job to do. I've never seen someone work so hard. Bathrooms do need to be updated. But 9/10 always clean and stocked don't know how many times I'll use the restrooms some where else not to have toilet paper or hand towels. Definitely stop in every time in town. Im from Maryland and stopped here while visiting family in the area. SHIANNE was amazing!! There are no mcdonalds or fast food within a half hour of the area. So a frappe isnt available. She made me a coffee milkshake that was 😋 Delicious!!!!! It was a very long drive and its exactly what i needed. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and it feels homey when you walk in with a Christmas tree and decorations in the grass. And the food is great. Their menu isnt very big with just the basics fries and burgers and onion rings and nuggets and shakes! But its great food! If your in the area you most definitely want...

Food was good. Good burgers and fries. Got half sweet & half unsweet tea and it was still really sweet. Service was quick and food was fresh tasting and hot. Seating was not suitable for someone on the larger size. I had to sit between tables and eat to the side. There were booths only. No table & chairs seating. The booths are stationary.
