I ordered online they told me a time to pick up. I showed up late and it still wasn't ready. I am not mad about that considering it is mother's day. I ordered the train depot breakfast I think it's called. Bacon and eggs were good. Sausage had no sear on it. It needed to be cooked more. The home potatoes were bad there was all this burnt stuff on it. See picture for reference. I also ordered 2 cinnamon swirl pancakes with extra syrup. I get home only to find out there was not a drop of syrup in my order. I called the store and told them what happened the girl on the phone said I'm sorry. I told her my breakfast is ruined now she says "I know, I'm sorry " like what am I supposed to do with your sorrys? Can I pour them over my dry pancakes and eat them? No resolution was offered nothing. Breakfast station you guys gotta do better than that. I probably will not be back. For that I give the service 1 star. If you do decide to go pick up from there check your bag before you go to make sure you have everything, because from my end it seems like they couldn't care less. Thanks for ruining my breakfast.

Used to be one of my favorite places before I started making breakfast at home to save cash. This is NOT what I remember the potatoes being like! I received this order of potatoes and it was honestly kinda gross. No flavor at all besides "burnt." I cook this dish at home all the time and I normally love picking the crispy, black burnt taters out, but this is "overpowering acrid charcoal flavor" type burnt... There's not one single spot of actual browning on the potatoes, which tells me they were never even flipped once. someone simply slapped it on the skillet, let it burn, then scraped it right up & plated it. Don't taste any salt or seasoning whatsoever The french toast was soggy & densely doughy even after trying to dry it out in the oven. To be fair I usually order the train wreck and have no clue if this is normal. But the taters? Yeah, definitely a new guy on the griddle. Whoever served this shouldve took one look at the black crust and rejected it. Total waste of money.

First time visiting a Breakfast Station and the following is my experience. The hostess was friendly and opened the door as we approached. Once inside a male waiter asked how many from across the room, 2, and pointed to a booth across from the tiled area near the cash register and we seated ourself. Within a minute or two the waitress approached and within a few more minutes we ordered. I ordered the smoked sausage skillet and my girlfriend ordered two eggs, grits, sausage patty and toast. While waiting for our food one of the servers apparently decided to mop the tile floor with a heavy smelling bleach solution which almost instantly gave me a headache, which we had to smell throughout the entire visit. The food came and while it looked good the skillet was very bland. The potatoes had zero flavor and were undercooked. I wasn’t able to find any cheese. I basically ate the egg and the sausage. My girlfriend was satisfied with her meal.

Been here many times and up until yesterday everything was great. As someone with years of HACCP training and years of food safety with multiple certifications in food health and safety industries, I unfortunately write about our recent experience. My daughter ordered the meatloaf as usual. After eating half of it she asked her mother and I what the white fuzzy stuff was all throughout the meat. Jokingly, she said it looked like mold. Knowing that cooked red meat takes 18-24 DAYS before it shows visible mold on it, It was impossible to think that was what it could be....we laughedand told her it was probably cheese or something it was made with. After looking closer i was dumbfounded to see......unfortunately it was indeed mold. White spores and lond haired fuzzy mold. The waitress was already watching us as we were picking through the meatloaf and as soon as i said it was mold she grabbed the plate off the table quickly saying she was going to show the manager. She was quick, and unfortunately the plate with moldy meatloaf was gone before we got pictures! He came rushing out and apologizing up and down saying how sorry he was and everything NOW THE DISGUSTING PART OF THIS. It takes a minimum of 18-24 days to visible mold to show... google it yourself. That means, the meatloaf was cooked 2-3 weeks ago.The manager assured us it was only cooked a few days ago... like that was supposed to be any better. I had to assure him that was definitely an extremely false statement. I was being generous stating it had to be a minimum of over a week... his response was again stating it was a few just days old. Why are you serving days old food anyway?? CUSTOMERS BEWARE. Thank God we didn't get sick. Especially thank god our daughter didn't get sick.

Response to owners lie! Your waitress after looking at the meatloaf also CONFIRMED it was loaded with MOLD. Once she confirmed it, she snatched it off the table and rushed it to the manager on duty. If the waitress would have not rushed in removing the plate with the moldy meatloaf i would have posted pictures of it. Since you obviously have a hard time understanding the severity of this. She then also REFUSED to bring it back so i could get pictures. I hardly agree that the situation was rectified. We were told we would not have to pay for it and we could come get free food. That was obviously not going to happen anyway. Why would we pay for rotten moldy weeks old food, and what makes you think we're coming back for more?. But say whatever you want. It takes 24 days for visual mold to form on cooked meat. YOUR meatloaf was covered in white mold. I wish it was only 2 days old. Unfortunately you need to learn...

Hernando County, FL, Breakfast Station was temporarily closed due to roach issues, 8 Violations

The Breakfast Station restaurant at 1242 S Broad St in Brooksville, Hernando County, FL, was recently temporarily closed by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation on August 26, 2025, after inspectors found eight total violations, including roach issues, during a routine food inspection.

State records showed that the popular restaurant, which holds a 4.7 rating based on 1,860 Google reviews, was able to reopen the following day after complying with an emergency order callback.

What Happened During The Inspections? The violations at this breakfast eatery were broken down into five high-priority infractions and three basic violations. High-priority violations pose direct risks to food safety and public health, while basic violations represent best practices that need improvement.

The most concerning issues involved temperature control problems and pest activity.

Inspectors found multiple food items stored at dangerous temperatures, including cut tomatoes at 53°F and various items in the walk-in cooler ranging from 51°F to 55°F - all above the safe 41°F requirement. Raw fish, chicken, corned beef hash, coleslaw, meatloaf, pancake batter, French toast mix with raw eggs, mashed potatoes, and shell eggs were all found at unsafe temperatures, resulting in stop sale orders.

Pest control issues plagued the establishment, with inspectors discovering six live roaches underneath the dishwashing machine and two live small flying insects in the reach-in cooler and near the walk-in cooler door. Additionally, three dead roaches were found behind the ice machine and underneath the dishwashing area.

Hand hygiene violations occurred when an employee touched their face and hair before handling food and equipment without washing hands. Basic violations included employees working without required hair restraints and beard guards during food preparation. Flying insects found in lift top of reach-in cooler on the cook line and near walk-in cooler door Employee touched face/hair and then engaged in food preparation without washing hands Roach activity present with 6 live roaches found underneath dishmachine in cove molding area Stop Sale issued on time/temperature control for safety food due to temperature abuse with multiple items stored in the Danger...

It’s not very often that I complain about service at a restaurant, I just don’t go back. But this time is different, especially since it’s still bothering me days later. We went for breakfast Saturday morning at the Breakfast Station next to Winn-Dixie in town, and granted the food was great, the owner is my problem. Apparently he greets every customer that comes into the restaurant, opens the door, speaks to them, asks how they’re doing and so on and so forth. So, when I was coming up to the door to enter, he looked right at me while holding the door for another person in a chair who was leaving and just lets the door close right in my face. Luckily my parents were with me so they opened the door, but when I called him over to ask why he didn’t open the door, especially since I am also in a chair, he completely brushes me off and walks away as if I wasn’t talking to him as a concerned patron. Then when we were going to leave, I said something once again about his treatment and he says next time I come and he doesn’t open the door, breakfast is on him. Not an apology or even an offer to pay for the breakfast after his blatant disregard of a handicapped individual. This is a place of business and I deserve the same amount of respect as an able bodied person does. The only reason I am leaving this here is because their business page does not have a section to leave a review and his treatment towards me was disrespectful and uncalled for as a...
