Winn-Dixie — Local services in Brooksville

I've read three Yelp reviews, all negative. In no way am I belittling or undermining what those reviewers wrote about. The Google reviews are much more enlightening.

Our experiences with this Winn-Dixie have been nothing but stellar. we've always found the store to be very clean, the staff has always been polite and professional towards us, as well as 'go out of their way' helpful.

We love finding bargains and we constantly find them at this location. Recently we bought a leg of lamb that was marked down to a ridiculously low price. My gourmet cook fiancée presented me with a delectable lamb dinner two days later. The meat was delicious and perfect!

On one occasion, we did purchase some produce that was not up to the quality that we expect from Winn-Dixie, or any other grocer for that matter. But that was the ONLY time we've had any issue, and we've experienced similar at all of the other grocers, too!

And I will say Winn-Dixie has definitely WON ME OVER with my UNSWEET TEA issue. For years, we've been buying and enjoying what we feel is THE BEST gallon jug of unsweet tea available anywhere. MILO's brand Tea is awesome! We 'used' to purchase it at Walmart, the only place we could get it at the time. Well, Walmart not only quit carrying Milo's Unsweet Tea, but they quit carrying ANY brand of unsweet tea! (I guess they figure everyone in the South drinks SWEET tea! Wrong!) One day as I'm pushing the cart through Winn-Dixie I spotted an old familiar label! Milo's Unsweet Tea was a new addition to their stock! THANK YOU, WINN-DIXIE!

Overall, I have NO problem recomending this Winn-Dixie to anyone! Friends or family alike....

While shopping today I witnessed something amazing. This white lady was being a real Karen today. It was crazy. While in line waiting to cash out she was so rude to this young lady. I mean she was loud, rude, slamming her stuff on the counter. The way that she spoke to that young lady was crazy. The young lady held her head high and just kept smiling.The Karen came with rudeness and the young lady met her with professionalism. After multiple attempts of trying to enter the Karen’s reward number the whole while time the Karen was yelling at the young lady trying to intimidate her. I guess the number didn’t work because the young lady called her supervisor over. To make a long story short if an employee can hold it together with great customer service with a loud miserable person yelling at her. Then I will definitely shop here again and tell all of my friends to shop her. Oh the young lady’s name was Justice. Way to go Justice and Winn Dixie for this...

I've been coming to this Winn Dixie for at least 9 years, I have tried so hard to be loyal. The store is clean for the most part, out dated even after they did some upgrades. The produce is horrible. It's overpriced and mostuff rotted the next day. The meats look absolutely terrible. I dont understand why this location cant get could Is quality meat and produce when other location in the area do. The Dade City Winn Dixie is top notch. Produce is always well stock and the produce is beautiful. The meat department there is the same. I don't go to the Dade City location for the fact there's a few items I buy weekly that there always out of. Winn Dixie if your going to charge $8 for eggs you need to make sure there in stock. The board Street location as gone down hill so bad. Again I have try to be loyal and stick it out, but with the prices rising and continues to rise for the money my family spends weekly we have to search for better quality...
