Nosediving from decent place to get tasty food to avoid at all costs! Slipped into the drive through Sunday 4/18 around 5:30pm to a long line as usual. We already know it's going to be a little on the slow side and we expect it but never did we expect such a long wait of nearly 50mins! We usually don't mind a wait as recent visits have always exceeded our expectations and every order was perfect, in the past. However, this was beyond mildly inconvenient.
Tonight however, the quality, care, and customer service sunk to an all time low. Finally making it up to order, "Madison", as reflected from the name listed on our receipt, decided to showcase her lack of care, concern, or ability to focus on her job with a side of attitude. We ordered 4 side salads and were asked 3 times what kind of chicken we wanted. After telling her we only wanted "side" salads with ranch, we were told they could make the salads w/out the chicken as they don't make side salads only to follow up with three seconds later we could simply order those instead?!?! After having her repeat the order back to us 3 times, each time re adding items she missed we began the slog to the front window.
At window, we verified the 4 burgers we ordered with the "never had those" side salads, Madison confirmed everything to be exact and with a quick hand off and slam of the window by someone with the personality of a rutabaga we went home disgruntled and frustrated, annoyed after sitting for over 45mins in drive through when it wasn't even that busy. 45mins people, 45 long minutes.
In the end. Our side salads were nothing but lettuce, only lettuce. Nothing added. No cheese, tomato or anything else...nothing more than a handful of wilted lettuce. I know they're not supposed to come like that as I've ordered them before. Our 4 1/2lb burgers were 1/3lb with cheese which, if you've ever eaten a DQ burger is a far cry from the 1/2lb as those come with lettuce/tomato/onions/pickles so on. Our fries were a soggy cold mess that tasted as if they were made at noon and forced to sit around on a shelf after being refused by another customer and thrown into our bag to save time. The whole experience was a let down, a complete utter waste of money and time.
We understand wait times, we understand good food takes time but between the atrocious wait times tonight only seconds away from the wait time of a ride at Disneyworld, minus the fun, we were met with lousy customer service by an employee who seemed bothered to even remotely handle her position but still managed to completely mess up the entire order after 4 times of verification. Do better DQ, either efficiently train employees on the menu options or upgrade equipment to better allow said employees to handle the flow of customers. If they and you as a business don't care, why should we when so many other options are available??
Once a 4 nearing a 5 star, this location has left a stain on our dining experience so buyer beware, double check, double check, pause at the window and double check and we pray you get better food and service then we did. There'll be a free spot in the lengthy drive through line now since we won't be back....

Either something has changed or I just got extremely lucky that day because I have been there several times since then and it has been very bad but this time was the last! put my order in and pulled up behind a truck waiting for his food. I waited for 13 minutes behind one vehicle before i got to the window. One vehicle in line and only a handful in the parking lot. I told them I did not want my order if it has been sitting there the whole time. she said she was slammed with over 15 meals (BS) and I was assured it was just made fresh. paid for it and when I got back to my office I opened the bag to start eating and was disgusted with what I saw. the fry box was half filled with fries and the burger was burnt to a crisp and about the size of a chips ahoy cookie. By far the WORST burger I have ever seen! It looked like someone put part of a leather sole from a shoe on a bun. It was bad enough that I drove back and returned it all for a refund (first time in 57 years). It should have never made it out of the kitchen and I got an attitude on top of it. Needless to say, I will not be back to this location. On a good note, I left and went down the road to Zaxby's for the first time, it was fantastic, and the service was great!
Travel around and when I'm in the mood for a quick burger, I look for a DQ. This location is one of the best, cleanest & friendliest ones I have been too. they even put my sunday in a cup full of ice (didnt ask them too) to make sure it wouldn't melt untill i had a chance to eat it on a hot 92 degree day! that is customer service and why I will be back to this location! Read moreThey overcharged me! The employee rang up the wrong amounts. Then had another employee issue me a credit, then added things up again and charged me again. When I noticed the credit had not been issued, on a return visit I mentioned this to what I believe was the owner. He told me they were well aware of some credits not being returned to customers, but I had to bring in my statement (to prove I wasn't a liar). So I had to wait nearly a month for my statement. When it comes I go to the store on a weekday during the afternoon and no one would issue my $30.00+ credit.I was told I would have to come back until someone was there who would issue the credit. DQ needs to have someone who is educated enough to do more than fill ice cream cones there during reasonable business hours, at the very least. IF, they are so well aware of this problem, then employees should have been instructed on how to handle this matter. Because I received no resolve after having done what the owner told me (& I told the employee this and her response was he's not here either, you have to come back) I wrote to corporate...apparently, corporate doesnt care as there has been no response and it has been 2 business days. It really makes me mad that the employees at DQ were at fault when they overcharged me, at fault when they issued (??? - I have never not received a credit anywhere else, though there hasn't been but a couple) the credit and I have to jump through hoops to get my $30.00+ back. I don't drive so I have to inconvenience someone else because of DQ inability to provide proper customer service. Best advice, pay in cash because apparently this is a common problem...
