Checkers — Restaurant in Brooksville

The service was okay, nothing outstanding that really wowed me to be honest. The food was nothing to write home about- normal fast food fare. The thing that was most concerning was that we were trying to have a nice little family dinner with the kids but the environment really wasn't appropriate for them. We thought it would be nice to sit outside with the picnic tables. Next door is an advanced auto and so guys were blasting really vulgar music while repairing whatever was wrong with their vehicles and then coming to hang out in the Checkers parking lot. One person even left their diesel truck running right next to the picnic tables- causing a lot of really gross smells and fumes while we were trying to eat. I know Checkers can't do anything about other patrons but I would say that families best just skip this location. Would probably be good for teenagers and college kids. Use the drive thru for...

Been over a year since been at this location always love checkers, great food great ice cream great customer service last night. I was very impressed. Lavette was working drive-through very very great. Customer service knowledge of the items, friendly and professional, fast and very considerate and courteous even approaching the window, making sure we had everything we needed and the food was extra hot and fresh. Great fish sandwich actually was the best I’ve ever had at checkers and great job on the stackers, very efficient fast friendly great customer service. Great experience last night. This is probably the friendliest and busiest checkers/rallys I have ever been too. Amanda is amazing! Give her a raise and her whole staff. She has great customer service and seems like there are regulars.

She even asked us and the two other couples that were sitting at the tables if everything was good. So I liked she checked on us when she didn’t have to.

I am from AL and just passing through but our rallys have all closed down that are near me. She must be doing something right. Y’all better give her a raise to keep her around. I doubt corporate will see this though. I do recommend eating here at...
