Riché's Y-Not Stop — Restaurant in Broussard

I've left reviews about this place before, then took them down because it was addressed by management. This one is here to stay. For about a year and a half after this place opened, I'd stop in 2-4 times a week to get an egg and cheese biscuit on my way to work. Not a complicated order. The ONLY times I never had an issue was when Jamie was working. Other than that, it'd take way too long or they wouldn't know how to ring it up properly. Well, my job changed and it isn't on my route to work anymore. I decided to go out of my way to get a tasty biscuit. After waiting for 10 minutes and seeing others get food that ordered after me, I got up to check on it. I could see into the kitchen and it took them a while for them to locate my ticket. Then, I was told it'd be another 3 minutes to get my food...which ended up being wrong. They finally fixed it properly, and I angrily left. How complicated is an egg & cheese biscuit with a hashbrown patty? This place shouldn't rely on one employee for me to have a positive customer experience, but if Jamie isn't there, it's not...

Extremely disappointed. And hungry. I called at 9:30 and was told to call back at 10 because they were short staffed. No issue whatsoever, totally get that. I call back at 10 and place the order, it was accepted. Told usually takes 15-20 minutes and I gave it over 30 to accommodate. I arrive at a quarter to 11 and was told that the kitchen never showed up so I waited an hour and a half when I could've been getting food elsewhere just to be told when I get there that it was never dropped. I'm not unreasonable by any means. I'm not blaming anyone for someone else not showing up but I am extremely bothered by the fact that no one bothered to tell me I wasn't getting food until I show up expecting something to eat when I get there. They've called me back before. All I wanted was a call that I shouldn't be expecting anything since the kitchen never showed up and I would have absolutely zero issue at all and could have found...

The food is excellent love that the “GRILL” is open 24/7 but wish the employees who are scheduled to work 24/7 actually worked. Called ahead for an order to pickup on my way to work at 12am and no one answered the phone. Decided to stop anyway since, like mentioned, the food is great figured they were busy and may not have been able to answer. Arrived at the store to find employees outside smoking and talking. When they saw customers pulling up came inside and wouldn’t you know it the phone was ringing. I had to wait while a call in order was taken before I could place my “ Call in order”. I am usually not one to complain and I do understand it may be slow during that time but at least have the ability to still maintain job responsibilities.
