Tim's Kitchen — Restaurant in Broussard

Tim’s Kitchen is one of my most favorite restaurants to eat to when I visit home! My family would eat to Ruby’s Restaurant on Rue Louis XIV for years and when we found out Tim’s Kitchen was keeping the tradition alive, we were thrilled! My visit today brought back so many memories!! The food is always flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. The brisket just melted in my mouth. And don’t get me started on the potato salad, pork and beans, and rice dressing that I love to eat together!! My mother and I enjoyed our visit as usual. I enjoyed going to Tim's Kitchen. They are very friendly and the food is excellent. This is just a part time job for them. They say it's just a hobby, but they do an excellent job of welcoming people. We went on a Sunday and got the brisket plate to split between two people. We had shrimp stew with fried fish potato salad and corn. Fish was great potato salad also good. Corn tastes like it came straight from the can to the plate. Shrimp stew was ok but where were the shrimp?? Maybe had 6 small shrimp. For the food we had it was pricey at $26 for 2 plate lunches and water to drink. If it had more shrimp and better corn it would have been worth it but that was not worth $26 sorry. Probably...
