I would first like to say Donatos pizza is very good. The people that work there could use a lesson in customer service. I went to pickup my carryout pizza and used the drive through window. The young lady hands me my pizzas and as I pull away I notice the smell of green peppers, which I did not order on my pizzas. I didn't even have to open the boxes to tell they were there. I pull around the building and back up to the window and the lady seemed passed off that I was back. I handed the pizzas back to her and said they might have given me the wrong order as I can smell green peppers and did not order pizza with green peppers. She opened the boxes and said yes this is your order and you ordered green peppers. I said you should recheck the order. She said , oh, I guess you didn't. I guess we screwed up. Do you want them or for me to throw them out. I said its not what I ordered and I did not want them. I want my order. She said, well am now going to throw these out, like I did something wrong. After a long awkward silence, she said well we can make you new pizzas but it will be 10 to 15 minutes. I asked if there would be any compensation or discount for the inconvenience of driving over and then being given the wrong order and having to wait. She said no, it's not my fault. Well it certainly is not my fault this happened was my response. I also gave you guys a $5 tip for doing your job incorrectly. I told her I should at least receive a credit on my account since you are unwilling to do anything for me this trip. Well, I guess we can see about that was the response. So, I don't know if that happened or not. I am not one to complain about a place. I usually just don't go to that place again. But, a lesson in customer service is definitely needed for...
Read moreI placed an order online at 6:17 PM. I received a notification that my pizza would be delivered by 6:53 PM I then received a notification at 6:46 that my pizza had left the building. When I had not received my pizza by 7:25 I placed a call to inquire about what was going on. The associate who answered the phone would not listen to me and kept trying to talk over me. When I told her that the person had been out for 45 minutes with my pizza her response was that she did not know what direction the driver's went in period at that point I tried to tell her I would like to cancel my order and would like a refund. She then placed me back on hold and would not pick back up. The driver showed up at my house at 7:30 I told him that i was not happy that i was treated poorly by the person on the phone and that i did not want the pizza that I wanted a refund as it had been in his car for 45 minutes. He denied that and turned his back on me and walked away. Now, no one will...
Read moreI live 2.5 miles, 6 minutes away from this location. When I called to place a delivery order I was told I lived in a "dead zone" and they couldn't deliver to me. Keep in mind, this location has delivered to me on at least 3 separate occasions; it was just this time they couldn't do it. The manager told me that their delivery contract had specific areas they could deliver to and that if I was outside of that zone that I would need to be voted in and placed in their contractual delivery area. I didn't realize I needed to consult the counsel of Donatos or appeal to Emperor Palpatine in order to get a pizza delivered. Mind you, I live less than 7 minutes away from this location and they have delivered to me before. Post edit: They contract to a call center located over seas. If you place a delivery order, be prepared to give your credit card number to someone in a call center in Pakistan or India. The brownsburg location is far too busy to take orders...
