Biggby Coffee — Restaurant in Brownstown Charter Township

If you’re going to ask for a tip before even making my coffee, maybe you could have enough courtesy to at least drop a fake “have a nice day” once I get it. I normally tip $2 per drink, today I tipped $1, because a nearly $8 - 20 oz coffee (after $1 tip) is crazy in general and not exclusive to Biggby obviously, but to pay that AND get crappy service? Never again. Had I said “no thanks” to adding the tip upfront, they probably would have spit in it. Learn some customer service girl.

I recommend going to any other location, at least their smiles and friendly manner don’t depend on your tip.

Owner, I’ve seen your response to others who complained for any reason, including the tip - so let me save you some time. My complaint IS about the service, not the tip. As you said to another reviewer, “it’s customary in the United States” and we don’t have to participate, but when it’s asked up front and they feel entitled to it, how are your customers not supposed to feel pressured to do so?

5/7/2023 I HAD THE WORST RUDEST EXPERIENCE FROM ALYSSA AND FAITH AND REALLY ALL OF THE CREW THAT WAS AT LOCATION BECAUSE I WAS DENIED OF USING A COUPON. Order a bagel sandwich and a coffee in drive-thru only one there! Everything was wonderful the gave me my coffee said the sandwich would be right out so I sat there waiting for about 15 min they walked past me through the the drive-thru window looked right at me said nothing until a girl who just started working saw me and asked if she could help me!
