Ordered on line and picked up shortly after two 12” subs, took them home and was totally disappointed. Bread was hard, lettuce wilted and poor proportion compared to usual and tomatoes were over ripe and yucky. Called and owner answered! I explained my experience and she was very understanding and offered me two free replacement subs on the house. Me and my wife went in the next day for lunch and ordered up basically the same thing. Two young guys basically threw together the subs in no time and then I explained that I had two free subs coming from yesterday’s experience. The apologized and sent me on my way. I get home and me and the wife sit down together for lunch with our replacement subs and once again we’re just as disappointed as the first time. Maybe even more. Both buns just fell apart and we’re very dry, Both subs had nasty tomatoes that were pink, only one was ordered with tomatoes, Lettuce was wilted again one wasn’t even close to correct like I ordered, and both were very sloppily made. We are not picky people when it comes to eating out on a budget. We are also new to the area. Our old local Subway was always spot on. I guess good help is just hard to find. Both incidents happened on the weekend. Maybe just a careless weekend crew? I don’t know. Sorry Subway,
Update: went back today for a veggie delight. Ordered online and it was done when I arrived about 10 minutes later. Get home only to be disappointed yet again with rotten tomatoes and some very wilted lettuce and spinach. That’s it. I’m done here. Threw sandwich away. I’m not looking for another FREE sandwich, just a decent one. You’re rolling the. Dice at this place. Good luck. Shame on me for going back after several bad subs from here...
Read moreI came into this establishment at around noon today, I said hi to the employee and was just stared at by him. I was trying to be kind and mention I would be ordering two subs in advance, just as a courtesy because that’s something I would appreciate as an employee, knowing in advance like cool, I’m gonna make two subs, let’s go! And say “what can I get started for you today?” And instead I was met with more awkward stares and an almost annoyed presence. The employee threw what looked like a lighter on the table in the back and proceeded to grab a cup of soda, drinking it while just still staring at me in an uncomfortable manner. Never once initiated my order by asking any questions like “what can I get you for the first one?” Instead I had to ask if he was ready and he just nodded. I was ordering for my wife and I, and I ordered her’s first which is a pizza sub with light sauce and he had a snarky attitude and said “sooo just pepperoni, cheese and sauce” like I’m not entirely sure what comes on it, she orders usually and we used to come to this location pretty frequently so I imagined I could just mention a pizza sub and he would know. His demeanor, energy and attitude was completely rude & did not embody any semblance of what customer service should be. Maybe I interrupted his cigarette/smoke break but regardless; 5-10 mins of kindness could go a long way & if this is the standard of service this subway tolerates and accepts, I’m happy to travel five minutes further to the other one down the road to get a...
Read morePro's: The kid who made my sub was a little shy, but friendly. He made my sub EXACTLY as I wanted it (save the fact that there were only 4 small pieces of ham on a ham foot long that corporate calls for 8).
Cons: Where do I begin? The manager (some Indian guy) proceeded to scold the employee when I turned away for a second about putting too many toppings on my sub. Excuse me? No he did not. He put exactly the right amount and even asked me if it was sufficient. I wanted more, but could tell the owner is stingy. I sat down to eat and saw the manager instruct the employee (who was filling product) to cut the meat in half.
I used to work at a Subway in Warren. The meat comes pre portioned and ready to serve. There is no need to cut it unless you're deliberately trying to gain a profit. This was infuriating and I made a mental note to contact corporate. Don't waste your money here. There's other Subway within a few miles of this one and they don't get stingy with...
