Let me start by saying if I could give 0 stars I definitely would. So my experience started over the phone, I have never ordered before and the menu wasn’t very clear, the girl on the phone was extremely short, borderline rude and rushed me to order my food. Reluctantly I followed through and continued with my order knowing that should have been enough of a sign to not go. Once I got my food everything was cold. I ordered 2 sets of chocolate chip pancakes and only got one order. My hash browns were basically raw. I asked for the meat in my omelet to be well done, it was not. The cheese inside of the omelet was not fully melted, they don’t cook the veggies at all. My toast was soggy. The pancakes taste worse than your typical box made. They did not let me know that the condiments were self serve so I almost walked out without any. There was no syrup obviously placed by the other condiments so while the waitress was taking a phone order the other girl in there just stared at me while I waited like I was stupid. I will never return here to eat again and can’t believe this place is still open. Not to mention this food is grossly overpriced, but because I ordered, I paid. I’m convinced everyone out enjoys tasteless food with terrible service. This is probably one of the worst places I’ve visited to eat in my 5 years of living downriver. If you want good food and even better service. Go across the street to Sparta where the food is always hot,...
Read moreSorely disappointed with the recent quality and horrendous customer service. We have been repeat customers for years but will never return. We placed a pickup order that included a cup of soup. While eating the soup, my wife found a fly in it, so obviously could not eat the rest of it. She called the restaurant, and the woman that she spoke with demanded that she physically bring the soup in to see the fly in person before issuing a refund. When she pushed back, because we had spent time and gas to pick up the food, the woman wouldn’t budge and was very rude. We even offered to send in a picture of the insect, but she refused. So she brought it in. It just seems ridiculous that we had to do all that when there was a BUG in the soup. They also would not refund the entire order, saying “things like this happen” very dismissively. We completely understand that things like this can happen, but the customer service response should match to make the unfortunate experience better for the customers who spent over $50 on food and discovered a bug in it. Being rude, making customers drive back up and bring proof of the bug, and then only providing a bare minimum resolution is highly disappointing. There are many other coney islands in the area to choose from, I would advise going to one of those instead to avoid a...
Read moreI stopped in for late breakfast today with my daughter and my niece. I waited for about 7-8 minutes and then a party of 10 came in. I see the waitresses moving people sitting in tables to other tables and then came over to the party and seat them. The owner Nick says you’ll be seated in just a moment so, I ask why did the party get seated before us? He rudely responded it will just be a minute they were already on the list. I politely said no sir they were not. He grabbed the book and said yes they were! Do you want to do my job? You want my keys too? I did not respond with all the things I could have I just simply pointed to his book and said this is my name up here and you party of 10 is here under mine. He said what’s your point? Do you want to wait? Again, do you want to do my job? Better yet I don’t need to serve you. I am dumbfounded.. this man really just treated me like this in front of my niece and daughter for simply asking why a large group went in front of me when I had at that point already been now waiting over 10 minutes. Completely rude, horribly service. I’ve had the worst weekend and this just made it all worse. It’s so much easier to be kind you never know what someone is going through. That party of 10 bill may have been more than mine but in the end is it...
