I’ve come to visit this museum two times now on different occasions and both times it stated on the website and online that it would be open for visitors, this however was not the case. We came spring of 2023 and spring of 2024 and the same situation happened to us, they told us on both occasions “sorry we’re closed due to an exhibition installation”. The lack of clarity online is what is most frustrating aside from the fact that we’re visiting from 18 hours away. Yet they charged for this. Look, I don't expect ANYTHING for free... but two galleries. Plus both were full of chairs, making it hard to move around. The best artifact is the replica Egyptian statue outside. Add in terrible parking and it's a disaster. I only added a second star because they occasionally host art by local high school students so they are active in...
