This place had a great vibe and atmosphere. What a cool place to come, hang out, and have a drink. Unfortunately I don't drink and this review will be from that perspective. I 100% would come back to try other food items b/c there were some intriguing things I'd like to try like the Pizza. I had the Pioneer (Turkey Sandwich) which was ok, the sauce wasn't the best, but it had a good bun. I was torn on the loaded street fried. The toping that were on the fries were good, but the fries were spiral and thick. They didn't taste like they were cooked throughout. It's a personal thing, but not fully cooked through potatoes I do no enjoy, maybe I got a bad batch. Dipping my chips in the sauce was probably the best part. +Cool venue and atmosphere. Plenty of space to lounge with a bar. +Menu has a good selection of food +Service was good +Live music -Food was underwhelming, but not bad

In Brownwood, Texas there is an auspicious local attraction, The Pioneer Tap House. Seeing the Local color you get a flair of why they named it this! It’s obvious it’s a successful local lure. We popped in for refreshment after a day excursion and found the staff and atmosphere inviting. No matter where you get Pizza, it is going to be different. This was a tasty treat and obviously a favored one locally. Many beers to choose from and they’re happy to help you choose! A definite stop in if you’re in the area!

Beer selection is outstanding. The service is great and the atmosphere is lively but I am disappointed by the pizza. The description says double pepperoni, mushroom, jalapenos, etc but it was lacking in toppings. It should have been hand tossed but it was super thin. First time her e and maybe this is the norm but it didn't scratch the itch. I expected more for a medium $21 pizza, Maybe next time will be better.

I enjoyed the wine I got here I loved the Texan beer and wine that was avaliable. Service was good with super nice staff i loved the staff, the chicken Alfredo pizza I had was great, I barely missed the window to order a pretzel while watching the band because the kitchen closes at 9:30 so be ready for that. I love the band AKA a friend of my boyfriend plays with them and they were the reason I went here. My only two complaints are the gentrification style decor it feels like every other new place I've been into recently it would be cool if there was something to make it stand out and make the place look different, and the high prices. I only put 3 stars because even though it's really nice there just isn't something special that would make me want to come back. It's expensive, ok, and kind of boring I hope the price of drinks keeps you guys open. I want to see new local businesses succeed, and I hope yall can find something to keep you in people's...

Our server/bartender KELSEY WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! So sweet. So helpful. (She’s like that cousin that you can always rely on and talk to, you know?) Lol. :-) We drove all the way from San Antonio and met our friends who drove from Dallas/Fort Worth just to visit this place. ‘The Cadillac Thieves’ were on stage playing original music and familiar stuff…sounded awesome. These guys are gifted. The show was so good it felt like we should’ve paid admission! Sadly, they had no merchandise with them for sale this time. Food was amazing. Great selection of beer. This place is a must when you’re in town, or even when you’re not…it’s worth the drive! Ask for Kelsey when you’re here. You won’t be sorry. Tell her Abby and...
