I went in with my Dad for lunch. He wanted to try out the restaurant. I was impressed with the property at every step.
Ownership/management has strategic hours of operation. The interior works well for a quiet lunch, and should create a great atmosphere in the evening when the restaurant is busier.
The Bar/Lounge looked great. There are a pair of big screen tv's mounted on the ceiling line, allowing you to chat with your table mates and still keep an eye on the game. The drink menu looked great, and had my favorite Margarita on it.
Our server was Lexie, and she was wonderful. The chips and salsa were great.
Then the entrées came out. I had the Grande Burrito with lime chicken and red enchilada sauce. The chicken had a wonderful citrus taste contrasted by fajita veggies. It came with lime crema rice, and the most amazing beans ever. I tried the beans first, and was stunned at how good they were.
I have already recommended the restaurant to family members. The food is fresh and flavorful. I hope to eat their again on...
Read moreWe attempted to have dinner here tonight, but after waiting over an hour and 30 minutes for our food we gave up. I gave it 1 star because it wouldn't post without at least one. The waitresses that took our order couldn't remember what we ordered. We told them each time we were still waiting on our food. One ask us if we were waiting on our check, even after we said we hadn't received our food. The waitress even clean off our table before we got our food. When they finally brought some food, it was the wrong food. We ordered two taco plates, and they brought out fajitas for 1....
Read moreThis is our favorite Brownwood restaurant! You can't beat the quality of the food. The bar is great for watching multiple games and meeting up with friends. They have fantastic happy hour specials too. The wait staff and bartenders are very friendly and are just great people. I would say we're here about once a week and this week we were there two nights in a row. Their fajitas are fabulous! We've had several other main dishes and they're equally as good, but we usually end up splitting the fajitas. The chips are better than any other restaurant because they have a little delicious seasoning on them. I always try to resist them, but I never can. Providencia is a...
