Fountain City Ice House — Restaurant in Bryan

Ordered subs for dinner. BIG MISTAKE!!! After delivery arrived we were ready to finally sit down and enjoy our dinner. I have to say that other then the fact that the buns were actually sub buns, nothing else resembled a sub!! Finely diced tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and shredded Swiss cheese, which fell out of the bun the moment you picked it up to take a bite, but the biggest issue was that it contained not one slice of cold meat!!!! It was a diced salad on a bun!!!!! We also paid an extra $4 for added bacon and it had nothing but crumbled bacon bits on it!!! So of course we called, the young lady was very apologetic and admitted that she was the one that made them and realized what she did, she promised to be back asap to replace them! A minute later an older woman called us back and asked if she could just send us the cold meat and we could put it on ourselves. We said " no, we would appreciate what we ordered or just refund our $36.00. She said " we will be back to pick up the subs you have and bring them back, then we will remake the order and then deliver to you!" This made no sense to me, but 🤷‍♀️. Pretty soon the girl showed up to pick up the subs to take back to the store to "make new ones" and re-deliver. 🤦‍♀️ ???? I said to her " why not bring the new ones when you came to get the bad ones, she just said " it's policy". Soooo after waiting a third time for her return, we sit down again and realize that at least some of the ingredients from the bad ones were used on the remade ones and the hubby's was even wrapped in the same old torn foil with new foil over it!!!! Last chance for you Icehouse!!!! We've lived in Bryan for 10 yrs and have had numerous issues. Always giving the benefit of the doubt, cuz mistakes do happen, but no more chances for you! As a New Yorker, I used to brag about this place being the closest you can get to New York Pizza in ohio. Now I'm embarrassed that I did. The pizza has become inconsistent at best. Several times, I have received burnt pizza. One time, there was a thumbtac in my pizza. Yes, a thumbtac. Also, the dough is never the same. One day, I receive a good pizza with a perfect dough. The next day, I receive a pizza dough that is so thin that it can not hold the toppings. Today was one of those days. The dough was literally thinner than a cracker. I have received apologies in the past, but I'm tired of all the inconsistencies and apologies. IT'S PIZZA!!! If I am paying $16.00+ for a pizza, I am expecting a $16.00+ quality...
