I selected this place because it was further to try to avoid the Aggie Family Weekend crowd. But it was packed. Although it is a very small establishment we waited maybe 5 minutes after being put in a waitlist. The service was great with everyone checking up on us not just our waiter. Our orders were taken and food took maybe 15-20 mins tops. Which again was great since they had a full establishment with a busy weekend. I had chilaquiles which were so delicious! My son had Alambres and the whole plate was hands down very well prepared. We also had the omelette, chicken quesadilla and breakfast taco. Incredibly fast service, giant portions, delicious food! This place is definitely a hidden gem. The interior is small and has great acoustics, so when the place is full, you can hear overlapping conversations, which feels lively and communal. It has a front and back room. We sat in the back, which has a moulding going across the room which is hand-painted with dainty little flowers. It was very cute. Staff were accommodating for large parties and let them move tables around, and were also knowledgeable about all dishes. The only downside is their bathrooms. They’re single-stall and very small with have no diaper changing station or accessibility railings, making it difficult for mothers or disabled people to access. Other than that, 5/5 stars. This place has the best food and service of any Mexican restaurant​ we've tried in BCS. The kitchen is so fast and everything we've tried has tasted fresh, delicious, and healthy. The guisada is the best I've had here, the fresh made tortillas are great. The salsa is so good, perfectly balanced and delicious, they probably think I'm drinking it. Friendly and attentive waitresses, fair prices. You really can't beat it, especially the way so many restaurants are going.
