Coco Loco — Restaurant in Bryan

Great small TexMex on Texas St. in Bryan, Texas. Imagine a TexMex (or 2) joint on every corner...thats Bryan / CSTAT.

Now imagine dining in the Best of the Best....that would be Coco Loco.

As we were sitting down, the chips and salsa was hitting the table top. Red and Green Salsa...if you dont like the fire, stay outta the green....now that's service. And it kept getting better.

Wife ordered (a special order) a barbacoa chille releno, with rice and refried beans. Daughter ordered a beef taco plate. I ordered 3 ground beef enchilladas with rice and whole beans.

Barbacoa meat was great, great flavor, tender...just as youd expect. Ground Beef enchilladas were outstanding, the "gravy/sauce" put them over the top. Tacos were big and full, seasoned RIGHT.

Food came quick, wait staff continued to check in us repeatedly.

Want great TexMex with outstanding service, head over to Bryan to Coco Loco....you will not break the bank, will be happy with the classy service, and cant possibly not like the food.

Clearly you have to be really good friends with the people in order they can give your plate served to some one else. They are not fare on the rule on who gets there frist and orders frist gets there food first ,Because i was there and order my food frist and then the other person got there once i finished ordering my food frist . And once it was ready i could tell that was our order becuase we order 2 caldo de beste and my was a menudo u could see them in the little window they have there . And they deside to take my order of menudo and give it to the other person and then come to me and say they were able to complete my order but if i would have to settle for less . Now i wasn't mad about having to order something else but the fact they deside to give my plate away to someone else just becuase they come in saying hi to all the works . So never agian would i go there agian. Where a place they prefer to serve someone they already know. Then trying to gain...

Wow oh wow. The taste of everything was real and fresh , undeniably some of the best tacos and food that you would find else where. The barbacoa was the perfect amount of lean and Manteca ratio. The carne guisada was so tender and full of flavor that I didn't care who saw the gravy run down the side of my mouth it had me drooling as I took a bite!!!!! The homemade tortillas were absolutely perfect. Almost like abuella made em on the spot!!!The tea and coffee were crisp and fresh just how you expect that most times you don't get from places. My only slight concern is I'd like to see the place a little cleaner like the ceiling tiles and some of the walls that needed some tlc but that doesn't even matter when the service and food quality were so outstanding. From a south Texas boy , y'all keep up the great work I appreciate y'all and will be back when I'm not on the road truck...
