No order online option. Called in and received poor service from the representative. The lady on the phone had no idea what she was talking about and she had to keep texting her manager regarding the cash discount policy. She said she would have this handled by the time I got to the store 20 minutes later. On top of that she never gave me the total of the order and the online menu is very outdated and messy. Could barely find the store because there was no actual sign. When I entered and said I called in and placed my order for pickup, the representative was very unprofessional and she had me wait 10 minutes while she texted her manager to ask about the cash discount policy even though she told me she would ask her manager and have an answer by the time we got there. Additionally, I saw that they have a notice on the cashier front desk that states "if customers pay with cash, you will receive a 3.75% discount". After waiting 10 minutes just standing there waiting, she told me that the manager said there's no discount even though it says it right there on the front desk. Not happy with my experience there, also the beef for my dish was an additional $4 which was not communicated with me at all. To make matters worse, the portion size was small, specifically there was barely any beef, AND to top it all off there was a hair in my food. Would like a refund or store credit or something. Not happy at all with...
Read moreI've come here a few times already and it's been pretty good. This time I had the pad thai and the Tom yum soup.
I will say the tom yum soup is the creamy version, and I really would love if it could come as a fish version with the shrimp, as it is traditionally served. Even with having it with chicken it was still bursting with flavor and if you want a sweeter soup you can spritz ONLY 1-2 drops of lime into it, any more and you only taste lime!
The pad thai, one of the most famous Thai dishes was for me a bit lacking as I felt it was a bit dry. I understand that typically it is prepared with a fishy sauce that coats the noodles as well as the desired shrimp, but the pad thai here was without those things.
I think I said this in another review when I first came here but I don't think many people know about this place because it's sign is hard to see from wellborn road, but you guys definitely deserve more business than you normally have. Your food has a lot of potential and the soups are chock full of so much flavor. Not to mention literally everything on the menu is par or under the normal prices around town of food like these. The soups are a steal for around 5 dollars!
Hope to see more...
Read moreLet me start by saying that this is a very nice and cozy environment and the people working there are great. But unfortunately I think I made a mistake by ordering Thai food (Red Curry Chicken), I believe the food they cook is mostly from the Philippines. The chicken was clearly deboned leg meat and it seemed it had just been boiled and then added to a very watery Thai curry. I could not eat the food since the chicken was too gamey and it destroyed the rest of the curry. I asked the lady to recook/fry the chicken in the curry separately with some ginger or garlic and additional spices. She was nice and brought back the recooked curry, but it was the same curry with added spices which did nothing for the gamey chicken. I ate the curry with the rice as much i could bare and then left 90% of the food. She asked me if I needed it to go, and I politely said no, and then paid/tipped and left. I know the place has 4.7 stars so I believe i might just have...
