Larry's Pizza — Restaurant in Bryant

So I’d like to start this off by saying I don’t normally make reviews on restaurants. I don’t normally go online and tell my experience because that’s just not my thing. Well from what happened I held my daughter‘s first birthday at Larry’s Pizza here in Bryant and everything went fine up until the very end. The server who served the big group for the birthday party did an absolute wonderful job. She was very patient kind and understanding, and she deserves all the appreciation for what happened during the party, then comes in the owner. The owner decided to open his He decided to say Something behind my back, not knowing who he was talking to, so I can’t blame him there, but he should’ve used his discretion now keep in mind this is a One year-old birthday party we had gotten a smash cake for my daughter and as I’m cleaning up the mess that my daughter made he comes behind and says what he says, which is extremely disrespectful to me and extremely disrespectful to my daughter‘s mom and then walks off then one of the employees that is under the owner he’s a server looks at a lady that is in a boot and has one of those wheel around. Assisted things tells her in an unkind way to “you know we have another party coming so you need to pack it up and leave.” Then we get into it because I had gone up to him and wanted to know why he wanted to be so disrespectful to someone that had paid so much money to him and he still wanted to be disrespectful to me not only did he not listen he walked away. He walked away from me. So if you’re wanting to have a birthday party, I would advise from it. The hosts and hostesses and servers did a wonderful job but if you want someone to sit there, and when you list your own opinion, not listen to you and sit there and talk behind your back Larry’s pizza is not the place to go, and they have some other rude employees that were rude to other parties before mine on the same day so the truth is Larry’s pizza is in decline. At 12:30pm on a Thursday I was hesitant to even park due to how busy this place was but after considering that must be a testament to their quality I found a parking spot and went in. Surprisingly I didn't have to wait for a table but finding one was a little difficult. The waitstaff were trying their hardest to clean tables quickly in order to get the newcomers seated. Our table was in the back, near the arcade area. We began with the salad bar which was sufficient and clean, serving typical salad bar fare. The pizza buffet was scarce so I enjoyed my salad as I waited for the servers carrying the hot trays of pizza to come by. This did take awhile, seemingly because of our location, but eventually a nice young man came by with a variety of pizza. A few more followed, sadly most with only 1-2 pieces left. (I was dining with my husband) A waitress asked if we wanted anything specific and they brought the pizza they made at my request to my table first offering me the first slice. Servers kept our drinks full throughout the visit as well and were very friendly even though the place was packed. The pizza quality for the most part was good, some pieces being flavorful and hot while others were on the cooler side, but again I attribute this to our location in the restaurant. The honey mustard chicken and spinach Alfredo with chicken (the requested pizza) were by far the best. Also the dessert pizza that kind of tastes like a magic cookie bar is amazing as is the banana one. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again soon and will recommend it to all I know over any buffet style pizza. My wife booked “the party room” at the Bryant location on 12/1/2020. On 1/8/2021 she texted to confirm. They did confirm the date time and group size. We have the text saved. We called back on 2/5/21 to place our pizza order for the party. We were told someone else had booked the room. We asked to talk to a manager. They said she was busy so we left our phone number. Several hours later and no return phone call. We called them back. We talked to Kim. She apologized and said she would have to call other managers to figure it out. She called back and said another person had the room booked before us. Lie #1. We verified before we booked it. Then verified it again later on too. Then she told us when they changed the calendar to 2021 they must have left us out. Lie #2. We verified with text on 1/8/21 that we had the party room. They offered to let us have our party in the main dinning area. That would not work because of the little kids running around. No other alternative was offered. We had to ask for help on the pizza since we are going to have the party at another location. They offered a 10% discount. This was their mistake if you want to call it that. Since I obviously can’t trust you to reserve a room, I can’t trust you to cook pizza and have it ready in time. I wanted to support local business in the hard times COVID has brought upon us.
