Whole Hog Cafe — Restaurant in Bryant

Ok I called the older lady that works there is beyond rude I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich no slaw we had to tell her three times no slaw then ordered hog fries with chicken extra chicken she asked on the fries or on the side we told her on the fries she said hog fries with chicken extra chicken on the side we said no just put it in the fries three times then ordered another hog fries with chicken and beef she said ok then ordered a sliced brisket slaw on the side then ordered a Mac n cheese bowl with brisket she read the order back finally it was right. 11 am lunch crowd no turkey when we asked she said she really didn’t know why we arrive at the store and I asked the manager why do you not have turkey she said no while walking away! We get home ALL the food is cold there is a missing chopped brisket sandwich the fries with chicken and beef only had beef no chicken! I think the owner needs to a little checking on his people and his food! No turkey which you advertise turkey cold food and rude employees and someone who prolly needs to retire or learn how to put the orders in correct! I hate leaving bad reviews but this whole experience was horrible! My Theory here is by the looks of the dried cold chicken and the dried cold brisket is this was left overs from the day before and they didn’t get them warmed up enough because who really cares right it’s a to go order they will be long gone before they notice what’s waste of money this was so disheartening because the food is usually great and the turkey is amazing but not today no Turkey and cold food and...

I order for delivery from W.H. Bryant. My order was about $47 dollars. It was delivered and there were other charges added on, including one for $8 bucks for Door Dash, I did not order from Door Dash and do not even know who they are. The order was delivered expeditiously. However, when I opened the sack, it was a total jumble. I pulled out the containers and rinsed them off. However, the entree, a 1# Box of Pulled Pork was all over the bottom of the bag for the container had apparently been thrown into the sack and the contents were everywhere. In addition, one item was missing, the #4 pint of BBQ Sauce. How does one eat a Pulled Pork Sandwich without Sauce. The pint of Coleslaw was old and very wilted, the pint of Potato Salad which previous experience had been very good, must have been made at least ten days previous, stale, dry, even ugly.

I called the Bryant Store and spoke to the manager. He told me to 'call DOOR DASH' to recover my money for the missing item. I was astounded. I explained to him, as I understood it, Door Dash, whom Whole Hog uses, is just a delivery company, they deliver what is in the bag.

After six visits I finally leave a review. For the Staff, Service and time waiting for the food I give five stars but for the food I can barely give it four stars. Pulled Pork sandwich - On the dry side. After a couple bites I had to add a lot of sauce. Was not impressed. 1/2 chicken - Taste good and it's juicy enough but chicken is on the small size. I've eaten this three times and the chicken is good just small. 1/2 slab ribs - Taste ok, nothing special, not quite falling off the bone but not bad. Again, had to add the sauce. The only thing that really helps the meat is they have good sauce. Don't get me wrong, the meat isn't bad, it's just not so good that it's five stars. Honestly it's just barely above average. It's good, it's ok but it's not really special. Coleslaw - Not for me. I love coleslaw but this I can't stomach. I tried it twice and both times I just couldn't eat it. Potato salad - I don't care for potato salad but this is pretty good and I order it over the coleslaw. Green beans. Nasty.
