Not only is Aurora Bistro a great place to stop in for delicious food and amazing lattes, but Dawn, the extremely talented & knowledgeable owner caters large events. We hired her to cater not one, not two but three large crowd events. She catered my brother’s graduation party in July 2024, where 125 people attended. She catered my sister’s 21st birthday party where 100 people attended. Finally and most recently, she catered my dad’‘s 60th birthday party with 100 people in attendance. She comes with a friendly attitude and great workers to set up the food in your home. The presentation is lovely as is her professionalism . When planning for the party, Dawn has wonderfully creative ideas to elevate your party. For example at my brother‘s graduation party , she created a fabulous cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak bar, which was a huge hit. At each of those three events that Dawn catered, people were raving about her food! I would no doubt hire her again for another one of our large scale party! My husband and I recently visited Aurora Bistro, and we were absolutely blown away! We began with perfectly crafted lattes and shared a slice of their orange olive oil cake—it was moist, fresh, and utterly heavenly. For our meals, I ordered the Brioche Egg Sandwich, which came loaded with thick-cut bacon, a perfectly cooked egg, melted gooey cheddar, and a touch of arugula. My husband opted for The Aurora Special, featuring the freshest eggs and lyonnaise potatoes that were sliced paper-thin and bursting with flavor (I couldn’t resist stealing a bite!). The ambiance transported us straight to a charming French bistro, with the buzz of lively conversation, happy families, and, of course, the irresistible aroma of amazing food. We've been here several times, and each time the food has been incredible. Everything is fresh, tasty, and unique! We've had the pizzette, the salad, the chicken sandwich, the breakfast sandwich, and the affogado, and the plates emptied quickly. The two things to consider when coming to Aurora are the size of the group and how much time you have. We've never been in a rush, but given that it is a small, family run restaurant where everything is prepared fresh, it can take some time to get your food, especially if it is busy.
