Over the last year, there's been a lot going on at this store. And I don't mean to put it lightly. I figured since Subway is typically locally owned, I'd keep trying to support it through the rough phases but I can't anymore. There was the time they had been closed in the afternoon with only a paper notice. Then after that I bought my friend lunch and our sandwiches were slapped together. My sandwich was practically mush by the time we got where we needed to go and I opened it to eat. I gave them the benefit of the doubt... Figured it was because I asked for three foot longs with another person behind us. They even said no coupons... Weird, but okay. I guess. And then they say their hours are till ten. Like I tried twenty minutes before close. I didn't think I was being that big of burden but she's putting the till away and hollering at the door to me. I can't do this anymore. The service has gone way down. The shop hours are inconsistent. I don't know what's going on personally for the owner, or the employees, but I can't keep supporting this shop.
STAFF: 5 star for staff friendliness. Even if they seem tired, they're upbeat. I appreciate that. That was previously. I showed up twenty minutes before close and the staff yelled at me from the door she wouldn't serve me. She said she was closed. Before that, my sandwich was smashed together and soggy (around 1pm walk-in order). I just... I can't support them anymore. Idk what is wrong or what's going on, but the staff is rude.
SERVICE & PRODUCT: Never a mistaken order. Never an issue when I ask for light or heavy veggies/fruit. She was even nice enough to ask if this was good. Doesn't ask anymore. Hours don't always reflect them being randomly closed. Sometimes the sandwich looked slapped together.
PHONE: I've never used the phone service.
I know they were closed yesterday due to a technical issue, but they left a sign on the door at least with Brittany's phone number so we could call [I assume to cancel unmade online orders].
OVERALL: Best subway? Far from it. It's on the bottom tier. It's clean, organized, and USED TO BE a treat to go to. I appreciated the staff before but the recent one has terrible attitude, sub-far service and level of care put into making my order. Not what it used to be. I can't support this place with a good conscience. It's gone downhill. Enumclaw has a better staff, better attitude and atmosphere. I wouldn't waste your time here even if it was a last...
Read moreMe and hubby walked and arrived this particular Subway and was eager to get our tummies filled up but once we got to the restaurant; the staff woman who was inside had the entrance doors already locked and looked like she had everything all packed up and was mopping the floors. We arrived over 15 minutes BEFORE closing at approximately 09:41pm and the doors were locked and lights were still on and even the “open” sign and we knocked on the doors and she looked up and made eye contact with the both of us and just bluntly ignored us and continued to walk away and she eventually just walked to the back of the store . Hours online and on the front of the entrance door says his subway in fact stays open until 10:00 pm and that was not honored, me and my boyfriend felt like we arrived a good almost 20 minutes until closing time and she had plenty of time to make a couple of sandwiches for us and still close in time. Very very rude customer engagement and also she wasn’t even wearing a subway uniform or name tag or anything to even indicate that she legally works there. Next steps will be calling management...
Read moreAfter almost 6 years of frequenting this specific establishment a 3-4 times a month, I arrived yesterday to be served by an employee with less than sanitary conditions. I arrived to have her performing cleaning operations. Upon ordering she did not change her gloves to serve me. Halfway through the making of my order I noticed her fake fingernails were so long they punctured the contaminated gloves she was wearing, to the point finger tips were protruding. Upon mentioning this fact she laughed and continued on. While driving home the more i thoughI about it and the realization of cross contamination I decided not to eat it and got screwed almost 12 bucks with a tip. The dirtiest part of a hand and fingers cross contaminated my food and she laughed at me. Unbelievable. Even more unbelievable... I didn't just say screw it and cancel my order. Never again. Never going...
