The waitress, might’ve been the owner but not sure, definitely acted like she ran the place and was horribly rude. We walk in with my dog and go up to the bar to ask if they have outdoor seating and before I get to ask she comes around and says “oh a dog? You’re going to have to sit outside. Especially if it’s a barking dog.” So we sit outside looking over the menu and she comes out to take our order. We let her know we’re still looking at the menu and she says,,“oh I’m not taking your food order, what do you want to drink and I need to see everyone’s IDs.” My wife asks for a Moscow mule which she replies with “nope can’t do that one,” only to find out later that it’s because they don’t have ginger beer/ale. Why not lead with that instead of just shutting it down? My friend asks for some water and she says, “nope you get your own water from inside, you’re not going to be high maintenance customers today” and laughs it off. Then he asks for a Budweiser and again, “NOPE, don’t have those but I’ll get you a bud light.” My wife’s cousin was caught so off guard by the way the waitress set the tone that she didn’t know what to order and just asked for a sprite at the moment. The other waitress then comes by minutes later with our drinks and demanded to see our IDs again because they were told that we are a new table and they had to be checked before giving the drinks to us (even though they checked when orders were taken, hence why she’s bringing us drinks..?). The waitress then let’s us know that (clearly) there was a cornhole tournament going on so they’re extra busy and food will be a 45 min wait. Mind you, after she says how busy they are she turns around and flirts with this guy sitting in the back corner for about 5 min telling him to go out with her that night. Like, seriously? Right after you say how busy the place is and you proceed to waste time flirting with this guy and making plans? Cmon.. I will give huge props to the guy that was serving the food and was literally running, you could tell he was busy but definitely not her. all in all, between the attitude and incidents, I’m not impressed and was actually disturbed by the service we received. Extremely rude and clearly used the excuse of the tournament to provide poor service. As we’re leaving, I even caught that same lady that took our drink order yelling at someone who opened their beer and was about to go outside saying “stop! You can’t do that! You can’t open a beer and go outside. I won’t lose my license because of this.” She snags the beer from the gentleman who was just told by the other bartender he could go outside and drink since there’s the tournament going on and gives him a new one and says “open OUTSIDE.” It was a whole loud scene that caught everyone’s attention at the bar. I don’t leave reviews often, but the poor service my friends, my wife and I received couldn’t go unnoticed. I’ve been to the firehouse pub before and had a good time but after that day I don’t think I’ll go back. Would recommend bootleggers over...
Read moreThe portion sizes and pricing was great other than that the people that you have to deal with are almost intolerable, considering their job is to take orders and serve drinks and food. I can almost guarantee you will be met with a poor attitude, passive aggression And a snooty demeanor the entire time you’re dealing with the staff I’ve only had Unpleasant irritable interactions with two of the staffing members one being the pudgy dark haired short man And the other being the woman that works weekend afternoons that looks like she is a missed meal and cigarette away from death. She took 3 to 5 business days to look at my ID and stare back at me only to give it back to me and comment that “looked like I was stoned” when I took my id picture. the she proceeded to be equally as unpleasant when it came to ordering with a passive aggressive attitude and despite the fact that there was only five other people in the bar She somehow neglected to note to the chef that I did not want olives on my nachos. After that, I asked her for a to go box And she proceeded to go To the next by Table to make casual conversation and banter with and then after that started cleaning tables from previous customer Roughly 5 minutes later, I received my to go box and then when I went up to go pay, she blatantly disregarded my presence standing in front of the bar with my card in my hand Still making casual conversation with the table behind me how Gen Z is dislikable and the unpleasant behavior around them as I was sitting right there eating next to them. So like any normal person would do that Received the service I received I didn’t tip and on the way out of the door I was met with a very passive aggressive snooty “thanks for coming”. I’m not one to write bad reviews Generally or give negative feedback but the interactions I’ve had with the staffing at this dive bar drives me up the wall, Maybe I just have a very dislikable face or a Demeanor that is unbearable to serve but if you give a slight care on how you’re going to be treated by the people serving you then I would genuinely recommend you go to bootleggers or somewhere else in Enumclaw because the staffing here seems to despise the fact that they have to go to a 9 to 5 and interact with people regularly, Neglecting the fact that it’s the job...
Read moreIf I could give negative 5 stars I would!! I called around 11:45 for 5 coworkers and myself. One of my coworkers was interested in the chicken quesadilla and wanted me to ask what came on it because a lot of times restaurants will put vegetables or salsa in it. When I asked her what came in the chicken quesadilla she rudely replied “uhmmm chicken and cheese??” I then told her we would like to place an order and told her my coworker would like to ask her a question about the menu and passed the phone to my coworker. The staff had hung up in the middle of me passing the phone. I called back 5 minutes later after asking my coworkers if they still wanted to order. The same woman answered the phone. When she answered I said “hi I just called to place a couple of orders for my coworkers and myself and was hung up on” still with an attitude and a rude tone she said “can you hold on a minute” I told her it was no problem. As soon as she put the phone down I could hear her talking to someone else and this is what she said.. “omg they just called me and asked me what comes in a chicken quesadilla and I told her uhmmm chicken and cheese, duh. I don’t have time for this!” After about another thirty seconds of being on hold she gets back on the phone and says okay would u like to order. I said “I’m sorry, what’s your name?” She said Janelle. I then proceeded to tell her that I could hear everything she was just saying and it was very rude and unprofessional of her. Instead of apologizing and fixing the situation she continued to be completely rude and said “I don’t have time for this, I have 20 people here and I’m here by myself.” I then asked for a manager which is when she told me she was the manager. So I asked to just speak to someone else so I could at least put my order in with someone who wasn’t treating me horrible. She then told me that I could not speak to anyone else, she was the only one there and I could either place my order or get off the phone. I chose to just get off of the phone and take our business elsewhere. I’ve never been so disrespected by someone in my life. She was completely unprofessional and made the company...
