The waitress, might’ve been the owner but not sure, definitely acted like she ran the place and was horribly rude. We walk in with my dog and go up to the bar to ask if they have outdoor seating and before I get to ask she comes around and says “oh a dog? You’re going to have to sit outside. Especially if it’s a barking dog.” So we sit outside looking over the menu and she comes out to take our order. We let her know we’re still looking at the menu and she says,,“oh I’m not taking your food order, what do you want to drink and I need to see everyone’s IDs.” My wife asks for a Moscow mule which she replies with “nope can’t do that one,” only to find out later that it’s because they don’t have ginger beer/ale. Why not lead with that instead of just shutting it down? My friend asks for some water and she says, “nope you get your own water from inside, you’re not going to be high maintenance customers today” and laughs it off. Then he asks for a Budweiser and again, “NOPE, don’t have those but I’ll get you a bud light.” My wife’s cousin was caught so off guard by the way the waitress set the tone that she didn’t know what to order and just asked for a sprite at the moment. The other waitress then comes by minutes later with our drinks and demanded to see our IDs again because they were told that we are a new table and they had to be checked before giving the drinks to us (even though they checked when orders were taken, hence why she’s bringing us drinks..?). The waitress then let’s us know that (clearly) there was a cornhole tournament going on so they’re extra busy and food will be a 45 min wait. Mind you, after she says how busy they are she turns around and flirts with this guy sitting in the back corner for about 5 min telling him to go out with her that night. Like, seriously? Right after you say how busy the place is and you proceed to waste time flirting with this guy and making plans? Cmon.. I will give huge props to the guy that was serving the food and was literally running, you could tell he was busy but definitely not her. all in all, between the attitude and incidents, I’m not impressed and was actually disturbed by the service we received. Extremely rude and clearly used the excuse of the tournament to provide poor service. As we’re leaving, I even caught that same lady that took our drink order yelling at someone who opened their beer and was about to go outside saying “stop! You can’t do that! You can’t open a beer and go outside. I won’t lose my license because of this.” She snags the beer from the gentleman who was just told by the other bartender he could go outside and drink since there’s the tournament going on and gives him a new one and says “open OUTSIDE.” It was a whole loud scene that caught everyone’s attention at the bar.
I don’t leave reviews often, but the poor service my friends, my wife and I received couldn’t go unnoticed. I’ve been to the firehouse pub before and had a good time but after that day I don’t think I’ll go back. Would recommend bootleggers over this place 100%
