Bodhi's Hideaway — Restaurant in Buda

This place is tucked away in what appears to be a parking lot. I showed up on Tuesday and they were having karaoke. I love karaoke and KJ/DJ Campbell did not disappoint. I have been to a lot of karaoke and he is by far my favorite. He can find pretty much any song and the sound was amazing! I also would like to shout out to Kracker the bar tender. His craft is on point. I had a couple of cherry vodka sours and they did not disappoint. I've gone to other places and had it however these were very well made. What an amazing bartender! There is a food truck adjacent to the place that I didn't get to try out, however they seemed quite popular....

Downtown Indianapolis area really needed a good sit-down Thai restaurant where you can enjoy cocktails too. Happy to see this one on the block! I've been to Bodhi twice now and it's definitely a great place to meet a friend or go on a date. It's fairly quite and is perfect for an intimate dinner. What adds glamor is their decor and extensive bar menu. Parking is a bit tough there but you can find street parking spots within few blocks. What a fantastic vibe. Named after, and themed after the movie "Point Break". A much needed themed bar and style in South Austin. Great location. Huge deck, Tons of seating. Lots of fans to keep cool (and heaters). Two indoor areas to keep cool and play games. TV's everywhere. Staff is very friendly. The drink selection is the perfect beachy vibe.
