Edit to manager. thank you for the response. I've since tried this location again, and again the food quality comparatively does not meet the standards i would expect from a typical chick fil a. I am however a little unclear as to the intent of your response here. I don't want free food or to trash any business. I would simply like to know that the same quality and preparation of the food is done at this location as is expected at every location I go to. I have tried different items on the menu. I typically stay on the healthy side of the menu, so the I'll list some items I've had and the issues I've noticed in the hope that when I give it another try that these items won;t be this way anymore and be closer to the consistency of the other restaurants I visit (and I visit entirely too much).
chicken wrap (typical that the lettuce and cabbage are very tough. Not turned but possibly too early or cut incorrectly which gives it a very off-putting taste and consistency)
Grilled chicken sandwich: Tomatoes seem to need a bit more time to soften just a bit. They are pretty firm. The chicken has a flavor i have never tasted from any other chick fil a. It's a bit gritty with a bit of a rubbery consistency and the taste is a combination of bland and bitter.
Grilled chicken salad: I know these are prepped early in the day maybe even a day or two prior. According to my wife, and I tend to agree with her issue, the chicken tastes almost sour and has a bit of a slimy consistency.
In any case, I appreciate the response although I am unclear about the intent. I sincerely hope the issues get resolved as this location would be much more convenient than traveling to Kyle. We tried it again 2 days ago as of this update 8-9-19 and the issues still remained.
Edit: I'm going to have to lower my rating to a 1 star. I won't be going to this location anymore. The food is consistently cooked incorrectly and cold chicken has been served to me too many times. I'll be back at the Kyle location from now on. Management doesn't seem to care.
Long time customer. Been a little disappointed in this location. Again today, I got a grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was tough and tasted as though it was cooked several hour prior to me ordering it and had sat for a while. It's unpalatable, and the tomatoes on the sandwich usually are a bit too fresh and haven't ripened enough. They're tough and hard. Had to discard the sandwich. I'll have to start going back to the location in Kyle again which is unfortunate because I was really looking forward to the convenience of getting it locally. Read moreANNOYED. I really don't care for doordash to be delivering my food. I trust the restaurant employees driving the Chicfila vehicles better. Today I received an order via doordash (I've been ill and didn't want to pick up myself) and was disappointed to see that my food that came in the large plastic bag that was taped on both sides of the carry handle with security tape, BUT there was an opening just under the handles. There were 4 holes on each handle, indicating there HAD BEEN staples in place that were removed, exposing all the food. There also was security tape missing from the drink. I tried to reach to the store directly, but it goes to a message that says call back another time because voicemail isn't set up. Well that was useless. Why post a number online then. Called Cares Center number, waited about 15 minutes for a very nice lady to come to the phone who took report. I asked her to please forward to the manager of the Buda location. I understand if they are short staffed and don't have their own drivers. If so, then please fold bags over once or even twice and place security tape WELL, as well as over the lids of drinks on both sides and cover the dang straw opening! I frequent this location very often and have for several years. This is the first time I had to inspect my food and feel a bit insecure about it. I feel better inspecting Halloween candy from strangers. To the Buda store manager: please set up your voicemail, and review with staff sending out orders that it is mandatory to affix well placed security tape. More is more...
Read moreRestaurant is always DIRTY - I came in a few days ago with my kiddos and the playscape was closed because someone’s child had an accident in there. My daughter was covered in someone else’s child’s urine. When I complained to management they shrugged and rolled their eyes and then sent a young woman in there who was obviously in training by her name badge and forced her to clean the urine with what appeared to seriously be wet wipes. The way staff talks to their employees made myself and my husband mortifyingly uncomfortable. Not to mention, I had to ask for my sauces three times before I finally got them, our seats were covered in greasy handprints and our food needed to be remade because the fries tasted hard and old , like they had been sitting out all day. Very displeased and downright DISGUSTED by the lack of cleanliness and the horrible way the higher ups treat their staff members. My family and myself will not be returning to urine ville. As a final note, The poor lady they sent to clean up the accident was covered in human waste for the rest of our short duration in the building. I heard her ask two different managers several different times for a spare uniform to change into and she was ignored and forced to walk around and serve FOOD to customers while visibly covered in human waste.
